I have been dating this great guy now for about 4 months. I do care for him, very much, but he has asked me to marry him.
I have already told him that I would not be able to this soon, but he keeps talking about it.
How can I make it clear to him that for right NOW I am not ready, but yet he and I still date?

The father of my four year old daughter i dated for four years recently had a baby by one of my ex best friends. who is actually still married to a guy friend of mine and they have 2 kids together. It seems like this women who is always having tantrums doesnt want my kids father to have anything to do with my daughter. I understand they have achild together but she keeps trying to come in he middle between me and my daughters father. She gets these jelous out burst and doesn't even want him talking to me even if its about our child. I have confronted her before bacause shes always saying things about me behind my back, but i don't know what else to do. I want him to be a part of my daughters life, but for her to mind her own buissness and take care of the 2 kids she doesn't.

I did try to sell it, but there are so many on e-bay that I didn't get one bid! Consignment shops around here don't take them. I put it on for kicks and I really do love it. It would make a great "little black dress" if I could get it altered and dyed, but I don't know where to find a service to do that.

Theres a guy I like who I'm pretty sure has the clue that I like him since I went over to him a few times, introduced myself and chatted him up. We are both very busy students so it's kind of hard to tell if he does or doesnt like me since our finals are approaching, so he certainly hasnt tried to ask me out or anything. My son's father has known our son's preschool teacher for 2 months. He allows our son to lay in bed with them while they watch movies. The worse part is I found out this was going on from the child, not his teacher or father. When I asked my son's father about it, he lied then told the truth about 3 days later. My son's father thinks I'm being unreasonable because our son likes his teacher so much. I just think this will warp his perception of teachers to come, plus it wasn't o.k'd with me before they started to date so seriously.

I aks before but in wrong place. I am youngest in my family and I have like the worst sister in the world i think sometimes!!! Shes 15 and im 12 and she is such a brat to me!!! always shes picking on me and making fun of me 2 her friends and i really hate that!! Shes prettier and gets better grades and always acts like shes so perfect and knows she so much better then me. If i do something wrong she will tell on me and i will get yelled at or punished or spanked and she think that is sooooo funny!! She laugh and call me a baby when i cry about things like if my crush is mean to me or if im upset with things or if i get a spanking. I know im supposed love her shes my sister but I really get so mad at her i dont know if i love her what should i do??? Will she always be so mean!!???

We married in June 2006. I came into the marriage with doubts because he behaved in a controlling manner while we dated and especially around his own family when they came from a foreign country to visit us and be a part of the wedding. At times things are good between us, but at many other times he becomes anxious about bills, money, and either my "lack of organization" (meaning my method is not to his liking) or my "irresponsibility" (not calling a service provider right away like when I just get home after work tired, open a letter and barely read it), or even yet, my failure to put his needs above and beyond my commitments to my mother or brothers. I'm tired of feeling so controlled.

Has anyone ever made up a lie about you and gotten you into big trouble or smeared your name or accused you of something you didn't do...anything like that? Did you do something about it?


As a teen I was at a party and this guy who wanted a little action and I snubbed at this party went around telling everyone he got lucky with me. Of course it was a lie but within a few days the whole neighbourhood was fed this story and all my so-called friends chose to believe him over me. Nice friends. That's another story.

Next day I walked right into the field in the middle of his big soccer game, (he was the star player) so with fans all around I slugged him right in the kisser and said you'd better tell everyone here and now what a bullshitter you are and apologize to me in front of everyone here. One guy says is she telling the truth? He says "all right so nothing happened!" and got another punch from my buddy there. Never saw him again after that.
