i think its time to let go. If there is also some stupid reason for you guys to break up...then there is no reason to stay together...i mean do you see yourself marrying this guy with no trust or communication in it? thats already a sign of failer...you can try talking to him about it, but it that doesnt work, i think its time to move on...

At least he does break up with you before he hurts you because he does that it doesn't hurt as bad but how many times will it happen before he realizes he really wants to be with someone else not you? Going backward and forward will become a strain on you and eventually if I were you I would call it quits for good. It's not easy because you two have been together so long but if the relationship is not healthy I would get out. No woman deserves to be treated like a doll that can be put on a shelf once a man is done playing with her then retrieved when he is ready to play again. You deserve better. It will be hard to trust him and if he doesn't make it easy for you let him roam. Good Luck

Six years? o my goodness. It sounds like you like to be a victim at this point. "he really doesn't call me..." then how do you communicate? do you even see one another? what kind of a relationship is it? from my perspective, and i'm a stranger it sounds like there is nothing going on there except you call him and he breaks it off when he starts a new job...how is his job, your calling, and trust related?

Personally, I wouldn't stay with someone I couldn't trust. He sounds wishy-washy anyways, so why not move on and find someone who can make you happy? Best of luck.

For one thing stop calling him your boyfriend because from his point of view you aren't his girlfriend.

Move on sweetie because he has kicked you to the curb a long time ago.

The key words here are "On and Off!" If it's more off than on- you need to be off and gone!

Find someone else, it's obvious there isn't enough interest to keep anything going.
