I have been dating this great guy now for about 4 months. I do care for him, very much, but he has asked me to marry him.
I have already told him that I would not be able to this soon, but he keeps talking about it.
How can I make it clear to him that for right NOW I am not ready, but yet he and I still date?

The next time that he brings it up just tell him point blank you are not ready yet, and if he would just relax a little about it maybe you will feel more comfortable getting married in the future. Just be sure to let him know that you do not want to loose what the 2 of you have now.

If he truly loves and respects you, he'll wait until the time is right. If he tries to push you into something you're not ready for, it might be best to separate from him.

wow...it seems he quickly wants to get married for some reason other then loving you...talk to him about it...ask him why he wants to get married to so, communicate over it. And then stand your ground and let him know why you dont want to get married yet...and yes, that is way to soon

if he is so sure then he will wait for you to be ready --- there is plenty to talk about until then so tell him that you are uncomfortable with it
