No, this is a problem that he has to handle on his own. There could be some circumstantial reason's for there action's that you are not savvy to. I know he's your friend, but let him handle it one way or the other.

yes, tell him, if i didnt turn them theifs in u wouldnt even have enuf money to buy a penny. OR when u turn those loosers in tell the teacher to not involve ur name when she/he talks to ur freind. tell her to say, i've been noticing money takin..blah blah blah. hope that helps
