when an ex is thinking about you and you want to contact them so badly but know you shouldnt?? i want to dial up my ex, after all we are kinda close, to see how his thanksgiving was but...i feel like i shouldnt. thoughts??

Guys, what would be your intentions in asking a girl you work with if she has a boyfriend and is single? I have had several guys I work with ask me, and also the Hispanics. They say "tienes novio?(do you have a boyfriend?)" and if I say "no tengo novio ahora (I don't have a boyfriend right now)" they say "por que?? tu eres muy bonita (why, you are very pretty?)" Do guys just ask that out of curiosity and for conversation or are they interested??

That he is pretenting to be a different person than he actually is?
That he is not sincere?
I don't always talk about all the incompatibilites I see in my dating relationships. I will talk about big stuff like values and some interests. But I won't always list the interests she has that I don't enjoy. I won't hide it. I just think that maybe we can get around it so I won't magnify our differences. Is that playing games? Or something else?

theres a girl in my class, and right now shes got a crush on my good friend (who is also in the same class). My friend dont really put effort in asking her out beucase he doesnt like her. after she tell him that she likes him, hes goin to turn her down. I was wondering, would she start to like me if ive been nice to her all this time? ive heard that if a girl didnt like you before, chances are theyll never like you ...this makes me sad :'(

Okay, it was about 12 at night and the phone rang and I picked it up and a low manly voice said what he'd "do to me...." and described it graphically in a fast voice. it was so scary I just hung up after trying to identify his voice. My attractive friend from college recently came to visit. While she was visiting, I spied on her in the shower. During my peek in, I noticed she had cuts up and down her arms, now I don't know what to do. I want to help, but I don't want to let her know I'm a pervert. She ALWAYS keeps her arms covered (now I know why) so I doubt I'll be given an opportunity to pretend like I discovered them another way. Does anyone have any ideas?

okay here is the situation, i have a boyfriend who would give me the world. me and my kids dont want for anything. he pays the bills, buy the food, gas the car;eventhough i work. he does everything a man is supposed to do but he doesnt do anything for me emotionally. he rarely tells me he loves me he dont hold me an ddo the little sweet things we women like, and the sex is really mediocer. he thinks its okay because he takes care of me but i feel like i should have the total package. i wnt kisses and intimate moments a person i could pour my heart out to. am i wrong for wanting this? am i asking too much? should i just be happy with what i got? because i know a good man of this kind is hard to find these days

18 months ago a colleague of mine had her drivers license suspended due to parking tickets (and I suspect a possible DUI); I offered to take her and her son to/from school and work thinking it would be temporary. Now, the situation continues. I know her drivers license has been reinstated, her car is drivable, yet she continues to ride with me without any explanation of when she will resume her past driving responsibilities. I happen to know her salary because I do the books at work. I know what she receives in child support and how much her rent is. She has sufficient funds to live on; she is addicted to alcohol & drugs and spends a lot of her $$ on her habits. I am now feeling like I am being taken advantage of. She cries "poor mouth" yet leaves her son with her ex when it suits her so she can indulge her vices. Her Mother also works with us and the situation is complex. What to do? I don't want to be an enabler but I feel bad for her 4 year old child. Any suggestions?

My daughter is 9 years old and 5 years ago she lost her grandma. Her grandma and pappy used to take her everyday and all weekend long a lot of times. When she died a part of my daughters spirit died as well. I have talked to her, I have her talking to therapist, but nothing seems to help. every other night and, her grandfather has put her through a lot since the death. Not long (meaning within a month or 2) after her grandma died, he tried on more than one occassion to commit suicide. Very tramatic for her to go through that, then he started dating a crazy woman only 2 months after she died, then that didn't work. Then he dated another woman a month after the 1st and then announced on her birthday only 9 months after her grandma died that he was going to marry this woman. This woman hates our kids, has tried to stab her grandfather, has watched her slap me, and won't allow him the time to visit. We did move away for awhile, but I think she needs him, as much as he needs her. HELP!!!
