the guy who keeps bothering us wants us to take him to place to get some food, but we need food as well and do not him riding in our car because we are afraid if we take him he will think we will keep on helping him, so what would you do? Also how do you avoid a person like this when they live above you?

You are not obligated to do anything for anyone that you don't want to do. Learning to say "no" will help you avoid being taken advantage of all through your life.

If he lives with you, set some boundaries. Let him know you're not his girlfriend or his slave, and that you need to do your own thing and live your own life. Freeloaders will take any opportunity to feed off others who let them.

It depends on if you knew about the free grub before they mentioned it or if they were the ones that told you about it. I can understand somebody not wanting to adopt strays but that could of been avoided by just letting them know the deal from the get go. "We can take you this once but it probably won't be a good idea to get used to it." About him living above you, well, when you're straight up from the beginning there hopefully shouldn't be a problem in the future. Good luck.

There is nothing wrong with him asking you for a ride. You just explain to him that you can't give him a ride all the time,he'll have to find his own way.If you avoid him,he will become more annoying.Be straight forward with him,no need to avoid him.

I don't think that was a very nice thing to do! He was hungry too! You should have told him "No" Or "Just this time next time you'll have to find another way" It is best to be honest with people! Put yourself in his place would you want to be treated that way?

Be upfront with him. You can't be running him around because you have a life of your own. You can be respectful when you talk to him.

It is called loss of integrity. You should take him once and then say that you won't be able to do so again.
