okay here is the situation, i have a boyfriend who would give me the world. me and my kids dont want for anything. he pays the bills, buy the food, gas the car;eventhough i work. he does everything a man is supposed to do but he doesnt do anything for me emotionally. he rarely tells me he loves me he dont hold me an ddo the little sweet things we women like, and the sex is really mediocer. he thinks its okay because he takes care of me but i feel like i should have the total package. i wnt kisses and intimate moments a person i could pour my heart out to. am i wrong for wanting this? am i asking too much? should i just be happy with what i got? because i know a good man of this kind is hard to find these days

i think it's sweet that he pays for everything but maybe that your man is thinking that you don't appreciate it so why don't you make the first move? it'll make him feel better about what he's doing for you. and anyway nobody can read your mind if you need something from someone, you need to tell them what you need, you can do this either by making sexual contact with him or you should tell him that you need his touch stuff like that... it is deff not wrong for wanting this but you need to be the one to take the initiative

I don't think you're asking for to much! I had the same problem with my boyfriend. (I don't have any children or anything) After living in silence for two years I finally told him want I needed from him. Remember to approach him in a loving and affectionate way. Don't complain or nag him about it. Just let him know your relationship could be so much better then tell him what you need - be specific.


Having a good man who pays the bills and takes care of you is fine, but you do need love and affection.

Tell him how you feel. Because he loves you, I bet you will make the effort - just like my boyfriend does!

communication is the key. As sad as it seems you have to really express to men in detail sometimes because they just don't get it. Its coo that he is a man when it comes to business but yeah I do agree with you,woman need that affection, but you need to tell him, if you like simple cute stuff like a phone call throughout the day just to say im thinking about you, if he picks up something you like just as simple as your favorite type of candy and definitely you gotta get in depth in the bedroom,hell if you like your legs to go a certain way, tell him,you wanna be touch that way tell him,certain things you want him to say when your freaky, tell him YOU GOT TO LET HIM KNOW WHATS UP!!!!

I dont think your asking too much because if what you want is love, like him to show you love and he doesnt, then it doesnt matter because what you need is love, not only money. Have you tried to say something to him, like tell him you'd like him to be more romantic? Try it. Well, at least thats what I think.
