My partners parents are Turkish Cypriot and do not believe that its right for him to be with a anyone who isnt turkish. this is really frustrating as we want to get married but wont until his parent come round as we want to do things the right way with out upsetting any one does any one else have this problem? how has it turned out for you ?

Well, there is this guys that I have become better friends with him in the past couple of months. I really like him, and I think that he likes me back. Like I always end up on his team when we play games, and he always tells me good job, even when I don't do well, and he seems to glance at me and then look away, and he always teases me, but in a nice way. His family is leaving in November to go to Africa, and they'll be back in April. I really really liike him, and I don't really know if he likes me back. I don't know what his family thinks about dating either. He's homeschooled, and I go to a christian school, so the only time we see eachother is soccer, which is almost over, and when there is like a big youth event or something. I really like him, and I don't know what I should do about it. Does he actually like me, or am I just making something out of nothing?

okay well if you read my other question "best friends?" then this will be understandable. Since a lot of people are telling me to ditch them that is one of my choices that I might have to go even thou it will be hard. My sister and me really aren't bad kids. My sister is two years younger than me, 15 and is way more...lets say adventurous than me. We used to go to school in a bad area, but recently moved to a place were there are a lot of stuck up kids and looks are important. I found out my sister has been stealing expenisve clothing. I don't understand why she needs to because she is really pretty and outgoing (shes a cheerleader). At first I didn't care until one day at the mall she asked me to hold onto a shirt while she walked into a store and ran out telling me to run because someone caught her stealing. I want her to stop before its too late and something bad happens. I have talked to her about it, but she won't stop. It's like she's addicted to it.

My Dad goes overseas next Tueday through the first half of Nov (he works for an oil company). He said it's too long for me to go with him and I would be not be happy because of the country he is going to teenage girls arent treated well. He told me to pick a friend to stay with so I chose my friend Tamara's and they said OK

I don't have a Mom anymore so Dad is all I have and all of our relatives live too far away or cant take care of me. We live in Texas now and while her family is very nice they very Christian and strict. Her Mom does not like that I backtalk and dress revealingly or whatever and deserve to "get it". My Dad does not believe in spanking but he gave her Mom, not Dad, permission to as last resort because she said that is their rule at home - spankings!

I'm worried. Dad told me to just deal with it and if I behave I have nothing to worry about and if I don't I will get grounded for a long time when he gets home and that's what I should worry about. What should I do?

I was supposed to be dateing this guy. We made plans to hangout last night. I asked if his friend and wife would be there he said no. So I drive the 20 miles to his house. Pull in the drive and the friend and wife are there. So the friend and wife walk to the local bar. We are hanging out and the friend calls. Shortly they return and they are there a bit and ask him if he is going bowling with them. Boy talk about feeling uncomfortable. So do you think I had a reason to be ticked? Do you think he should of told his friends he had plans?

I had the most wonderful relationship with him. I was his wood tic...I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!! He died of brain cancer and lived for 5 years since last May. I really miss him. I have dreams about him almost every night, and I don't go a night without crying. Am I depressed? Is this normal? I have dreams of him telling me that he's okay and he loves me! That's so great but I'm still struggling. Any advice would help if any of you have had a similar situation. Thanks.
