Well, there is this guys that I have become better friends with him in the past couple of months. I really like him, and I think that he likes me back. Like I always end up on his team when we play games, and he always tells me good job, even when I don't do well, and he seems to glance at me and then look away, and he always teases me, but in a nice way. His family is leaving in November to go to Africa, and they'll be back in April. I really really liike him, and I don't really know if he likes me back. I don't know what his family thinks about dating either. He's homeschooled, and I go to a christian school, so the only time we see eachother is soccer, which is almost over, and when there is like a big youth event or something. I really like him, and I don't know what I should do about it. Does he actually like me, or am I just making something out of nothing?

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

In order to get to know if he really likes you, you should get his screename, email address, or phone number-anything to keep intouch with him. Make sure, when you see him, that you flirt a little, and see how he reacts.

ask if he wants to hang out outside of soccer to go eat or to the movies.
