Having worked with battered women for 11 years I can tell you that you are right. Some of the most sick men do work in law enforcement. Battered women whose husbands or boyfriends are police officers have the hardest time getting help and getting out of abusive relationships. Since it's all about power and control with batterers, law enforcement is the perfect job for them. They get to wear a gun and a badge. Who are we supposed to call when we're in trouble? The police. Who is a battered woman supposed to call when she's in trouble? The police. Ahh ... but who is she supposed to call when her abuser is the police? And his buddies in blue side with him, covering for him, etc. It's a sad state of affairs.

It's NOT your imagination.
Government service in general (not just Law Enforcement) tends to attract cowards and bullies who can't get a job in the private sector. There are sick women in Government, too.

i'm no longer confident you recognize the quite definition of entrapment. Leaving a walk-guy on a subway bench and then arresting those who %. them up isn't entrapment. under no circumstances did regulation enforcement "stress" or coerce the persons into stealing the products. i'm curious as to this "drug case" you reference. What case are you speaking about? Entrapment is a criminal offense. there is not any way for every person to get a warrant to entrap someone.

Your right my husband is a cop/paramedic and even though he is good and fair and great at his job his coworkers are dumb.A cop on his force abuses his authority and conviscates pot for his own use and I will never call an ambulance. Me and my husband both would take our chances with a cab if we couldn't drive.
