I don't know

This question keeps me awake and nights as I go over and over all the possible reasons why I over-analyse every single aspect of my life

some girls analyse things from the heart, they get hurt the most (mostly unintenational) in soving problems,it is all logic, reason (or heart) will comfuse the issure,as make a list on paper draw a line down in middle, now left side the good ,right bad,now you can see it clearly right?paper is also the trick to get motavated also, list to do ,reward(coffee ),cross out list, make new list works, good luck.

My theory: it has to do with partial hormones and partial intelligence.
--Women in general have higher IQ's than men. Women tend to stay in a tighter range around 110 or somewhere similar, which is higher than the average of 100.
--Men are more scattered. Either they are lower than average, or a lot higher than average. Usually men, are slow or extremely smart. It SEEMS to me that men that are smarter, tend to worry more often than their counterparts. But, still not to the extreme that women do, so I think that the hormones have something to do with it also.
--Women also express themselves more, when men don't care.

I'm the same way, I do it because I like to present the good side of myself to people and it makes me feel good about myself too so it's not just for other people. I wonder if my actions are showing my good side, so I try hard to make my actions match my word so I am a better person for myself.

this is a learnt behaviour. generally women learn to weigh up moods and situations thro analysis to keep ourselves safe. if we grow up in a volatile home either physical or verbal we start to learn how important it is to analyse moods and others' actions. guys do it differently but some can get very controlling like this. it is controlling behaviour and you can stop it. mild ssri anti-depressants can help and eft. www.eftme.com

I do exactly the same thing i always worry about everything! To my knowledge men don't do this. I think women are just born worriers as we tend to be the ones who look after everyone and thing!

It took me years to figure this one out. Insecurity. Don't worry, it's not fatal. We're all a little insecure, ( Guys too, we're just not as good at it) especially when the heart is involved No? You are just being human, love. -- Rat
