here's an idea do all of the above and if that doesn't work scare her,get a friend of hers to help u ,make her not talk to your sister for a day or two and then then tell u're sister that her friend was caught stealing and went to jail, see if that scares her if not get a friend of yours that she has never met and make him dress like a cop set herup,go to a location where u have total control like a n empty parking lot set up tables get alot of u're friends to crowd the place and set up tables like if there selling stuf and pput something she wants on the table and wait till u steals it and make the fake cop catch her and give her a scare of her life by treathing her that she going to jail and going to do a few months to a 1year in prison.

She's a younger sister, and you're older which makes you kind of liable of her actions. Especially if you're in the scene when she commited a crime. Best thing you should do is just ask her to help you bring all the clothes she stole to the store and return them back. That's what you do right after you have a sisterly talk about this. If she continues on stealing, you might need to alert your parents. But tell her how it's bad for her reputation, and as a cheerleader she should learn how snobby that sounds to other girls. Remind her it's the law, not because you're telling her what to do. And you guys should do something to make more money [like babysitting, etc] to keep her into good activites and still make money for the clothes she well earned and worked for.

i have a simular prob and its not that easy...once you get the hang on something its hard to let go. have a therapist or an adult talk to her about what could happen. i know i could go to jail and i surely wouoldn't want to be in jail for something like that. she needs to gain control and know its wrong.

Get your parents involved and then they need to take her to family counseling. It is not your fault. She is not thinking clearly. Take this step and get her some help before she really gets into trouble or worse!

I think you need to sit down talk to her or just get your parents involved before the law gets her.

sorry but it is time to bring your parents in. she might hate you... but it is better than visiting her in juvenile center or jail. people who love ,,, have to make hard decisions like this. if you love your sister u will help her..and that is by telling
