she is the same age as me (13) and shes liked me for a while and she hasn't ever talked to me. I would go out with her but i think she should ask me if she is really intersted. I try to talk to her but she makes up an excuse and runs off I also hang around her and her friends to show I'm interested. We have alot in common and I wish she would ask me out.

I want to make a gift basket for my uncle for his Birthday... i thought of getting him a bunch of diffrent beers as hes a real manly man type guy who has beer with every meal

OKay so the qustion is does anyone know where (online or in Toronto, ontario) I could get a cool bakset type thing to put the beer in im open to suggestions as well on how to persent it. I was thinking of putting it in a new tool box and wraping with with selo but he has a tool box so anything along those lines....

I have a good friend who's a Christian minister at the charity where I volunteer.

I've never brought up my personal beliefs with him. Recently, though, he's been trying to sell me on Christianity.

I respect the many religious traditions, but I like my relationship with the people and the universe around me. I meditate, practice kindness, and work to be positive and helpful. That's my "religion".

Frankly, I don't think anybody knows why they follow a special spiritual path... I think that's determined by their individual values and emotions. I'm sure God knows what's in my heart, and I feel no need to try to "make deals" with Him (a concept I find a bit silly and vain).

I could tell my friend exactly why I'm not interested joining a religious group, but I like him very much and I don't want to alienate him or hurt his feelings. Ideas? (And Christians, PLEASE don't try to convert me---no thanks, really!)

my aunt that lives up in rockford and i live in springfield just told my mom the other day that at a party we went to while we were up there for a visit my aunts friends' family were talking about me and my brother.. because his fieance is going to have a baby and tmy aunt told him the day before she told my mom that everyone thought i was the one that was having the baby because my brother was emotionally hurt at that moment because of all that stress of having a baby and so i gave him a few hugs to cheer him up.... but the problem is, is that she didnt tell me she tried to keep it away from me but she told everyone else... what should i do how should i get over it????HELP im sooo confused

he moved out when i was like 3 (ten yrs ago).... everytime isee him he says something negative like you need hair cut ( when i just got it cut!),or your too skinny you look sick, etc.. and he hardly sees me too. & i heard him talking on the phone with my mom he said i wish she was never born! but its weird too because when i see him he buys me everything, like he wants me to think he likes me. so does he dislike me or what???????/

I'm kind of a straight-edge person and am finding life boring these days. I'll be 38 three days from now, and everything bores me! A decade ago, a record producer friend of mine introduced me to crystal methamphetamine. It was wonderful - but because I'm not into drugs, I stopped using it. Lately I find myself fantasizing about meth the way people think about a great old boyfriend. I was on top of the world on that stuff, skinnier, always in a good mood, and so interested in life and in men! Now I'm very spiritual... and the taste has gone out of my whole world.

I want to be a bad girl again. Life has become too boring and stable. Lots of guys like me, but none I could fall in love with. The truly great men seem to fall in love with women who have serious problems -- like drugs, extra children, alcoholism...

Am I being too straight-edge? I'm really missing speed... I drew some good-looking guys and fun times back then... so should I hunt down some more meth...?

I dated this guy for 2.5 years and it ended pretty badly after I found out I was losing my health pretty quickly from a bad gall bladder. I told him to never ever seek me out again and to just let me go and he would be happier because I felt that I didn't love him anymore because of the way he treated me when I was sick. One month later, I was rushed to the hospital and taken in for emergency surgery where I stayed for a week and then I was laid up for almost two months. Over the weekend, he found me somehow thru a friend and he got me off to the side and started going on about how he still loved me and how he wanted to marry me. I tried to explain how I had just gotten back on my feet and I was preparing to leave for a different country for approx. 3 years to better my career and rebuild the time I lost from my sickness. He just doesn't accept my reason for turning down his proposal.

What're some ways for helping me tell this guy that I want to focus on my future & not my past?

I just broke up with someone that I really cared for. It started realy wonderfully as if we were meaned for each other. But he could not get over his sorrow from his past relationship, and also the desire to stand alone rather being emotionally dependent on me. That is what he says to calm me down, but I really feel unattractive, not-sexy, and inspirational. He has even asked me to move in, and told me that I am his muse, but now he thinks that there will be no hope for us to go back to that time. He told me he just cannot concentrate on relationship. I think that it is a sweet word from him, but I know I was just not the one for him. I was hurt as we were too weak to sleep in the different room and did something we should not do. I feel so disappointed that the love which once used to be a warm water change to such an icy cold pond. I need some serious help. My sister thinks it's fun to randomly hit me in the nuts and then watch my reaction. Sometimes she hits me while I'm sleeping and run away. I told my parents but they just say "ignore it, she'll stop" but never confront my sister. They don't relize it's kind of hard to ignore. I've asked her to stop and she'll say "i'll do what I want". What can i do???
