I have seen in the past many men would mary women with significant age difference. Does it anything to do with difference in men and women's sexual needs at older ages? Then there are couples who are like the other way round, woman is older than the man...so what is the bottomline?

Ive been dating my bf a year and hes so insecure, if i dont give him the slightest attention he gets upset and angry, eg- if i dont phone him for like 2-3 hours.We see each other everyday after he finishes work, but its getting way too much because everytime we go out in public together he gets really angry because he thinks im looking at EVERY man that walks past me.. and that im flirting with them when im NOT! its driving me insane, because we argue all the time about me trying to flirt or staring at other men, i love him so much and he loves me, but this is taking the piss!!!!
Today he had a day of work, but i had a hairdressers appointment, so i decided to take him with me and he thought i was rubbing my legs against the guy who was blowdrying my hair, he thought i was flirting! when i know i wasnt i was just being friendly...! what can i do? this keeps happening, i go back to uni next week and hes going to be even more insecure i dont think hes going to cope!

ok... ive known this guy for awhile and when we first met we were taklin all the time... well something happend and i got pregnant. we lost it. we havent really talked much since then but once every now and then.... well this weekend we hung out for a little bit a i found myself having feelings for him again... how can i get him to come around more and tell him how i feel?

Me and g/f have been forced apart by nationality (she's german i'm english) and universities. we had to part just at the point that we're absolutely mad for eachother and as yet the future is uncertain and we haven't yet found a way to be together again. basically the uncertainty, stress of studying and not having her close to me are driving me mad and i think i'm starting to get depressed. i know we'll find a way to be together as we're made for each other but still...is there anyone with experience of this situation that ended positively? How do you cope with it?

Ok here goes:


I’m 15, this girl is 13: ITS only 2 years

A few months ago, me and this girl were really close, we would talk and flirt all the time, and this went on for a while, well eventually people started talking about us, being so close, and wondered if we were dating. She started backing off big time, and seemed like something was bothering her. Well I asked her to the movies, and she said idk maybe. I took it as a nice way of saying no. Well she told her friends she just doesn’t know, because I’ve liked many different girls b4, and she just want to see if I could stick with her for a while. Well months passed, and we got further and further away. I wondered why? Well she and her mom are REALLY close, so I asked her mom. Her mom said she was just really scared, because we have been friends since age 7. Well then she told her friends she just doesn’t want to hurt my feelings. It got to the point were I couldn’t stand it anymore. So I emailed her this about a month ago

I've got to tell you something, because, well, i just got to know.
I really like you, alot. And it seemed like you used to like me. But now, it just seems like you are really really trying to avoid me. I mean, i know youve been busy and all with swimmin, but like since carrowinds, we havent talked, barely any , at all. It seems like you just dont care about me. I mean, i feel so confused, because, for some reason, you just stopped talking to me. Why? I mean, are you trying to get me to take the hint? Or what? I mean i really dont know what to think. Tell me anything, tell me that you hate me, just please please be honest. Remember that thing at carrowinds, guys cant stand when girls beat around the bush? Now to me, that sounds like two things (1) she doesn’t want to ruin a friendship, cuz we’ve been friends since age 7 or (2) shes just letting me down easy. But now she is flirting with this other guy, like she used to do with me. But she seems more comfortable around me than she did before. But when she sees that I am not going out of my way to see her, she seems to talk to me more, and flirt a little more, almost like she don’t have me anymore. And sometimes, Ill catch her looking at me, and when I look she’ll look away. And then sometimes, her body language, she just seems sad, like she wants to tell me something, or likes me or IDK what, its just she seems different since we talked about it. But I mean b4 she really seemed to like me, and IDK why she just would have stopped. , I mean I’ve like many girls, just none like this, When I wake up sheds the first think I think about, and the last think when I go to sleep. I just cant let her go.
My question is do you think she was letting me down easy, or is just scared, and what should I do about it? And please don’t tell me I’m too young

it became pretty tense, we never managed to resolve it, and she decided to get even with me last night. I knew she had a yeast infection, but didn't think much of it until last night, when she got naked and sat on my face while I was sleeping. I awoke to her gyrating on my face, and a mouthfull of yeast. I still feel nautious from it. What should I do?

my ex doesn't do a thing for our boys,but i do allow him to see them "every blue moon "when he pops up....the thing is he often calls me...almost stalks from time to time,constantly calling my cell or home phone ..recently he called me 4 am...my new guy said"do u want me to say something to him"...i waslike no i'll handle him...should i have allowed him to say something or is this me and the ex issue?????? i'll never get back with the ex ...simply never...what should i do????

we are all close and have known each other since childhood, he is feeling left out since the birth of their daughter, I am having a rocky time in my marraige and he suggested we 'console one another. I (obviously) said no and this involved some fending off of advances. But I didn't react fast or assertivly enough (wine and confusion). He now appears to be pursuing more. I want to draw a line under it and keep the friendship. Any suggestions?

I recently posted a question explaining how I am always paranoid and worrying about a relationship in which nothing is wrong, but I've figured out the root of my problem....

I get no "re-assurance" from my girlfriend at all. She never tells me she misses me, that she loves me or that she even cares about me. It's not a spiteful thing, that's just how she is...

I was told if I can admit the root of the problem and the reason why I think I worry, I could start fixing it. I've talked to my girlfriend about how she is, but she can't changed (and won't, she's too stubborn!) and I wouldn't want her too anyway. But, I worry a lot because she never tells me how she feels about me and I pelt her with my feelings so it's hard not to worry and get paranoid sometimes.

I really love her and I need to seriously find a way to stop myself from being like this - for my own piece of mind, mostly. I just want to be happy, and I know it's possible... if I can just stop worring about nothing!

Also, I don't mean just the love between a young couple. Love between parent and child, love for one's nation, love for God, etc.
