At Legoland today we saw some lady hitting a 2-3 yr old boy, her was yelling "mommy, mommy" and she was yelling at him "your mother is on the ride, stop it..." as she sqeezed him onto her lap and smacked his legs.

Everyone was staring, saying what if the parents don't know, and when the parents came out of the ride the lady rolled the kid up to them, said something and went to go sit far away from them. The adults were all talking to the boy who still couldn't breathe from all the crying and my Mom went up to them and said "I just want you to know the baby is crying because he got a pretty bad spanking -- we don't know if that's a relative or nanny or friend but she was really hitting him a lot."

And they went ballistic! Actually the husband was holding the boy looked upset / embarrased, but the women yelled "none of your business, we spank, we can spank all we want -- that's his grandma -- how dare you.... what do you care, butt out"

Should my mom have said anything?

I havn't been on this very long, and this is a little off the record, but i want to share with everyone, if i could shout it to the world i would.

my son who is serving in the army, has been in Iraq for the past year and i just received an email he is coming hom October 5th, i will see him on his birthday the 23rd of october, he has a new wife and two baby girls, i am so excited, god bless all our soldiers, I wish they could all come home. Can guys really be FRIENDS with a woman? I love hanging out with guys, working with guys and talking to guys. (and a little harmless flirting every now and then). My friend asked me to ask this. She says her husband's long time friend had been visitting, she says he made her fell uncortable with certain attitudes.
The guy is married and his wife is older than him, on the other hand my friend is younger than her husband and very attractive yet she is not a flirt, she is a very moral and concervative, she loves her husband and her children although she has had a tough time in her marriage.
She wants to ask if this attitudes are of a man who is trying to get something from her.

This are the attitudes:

Tried to touch her hand when she handed him something
Tried to get as close to her as he could
caught him staring at him several times
The 3 of them, guy friend and wife together with my friend went shopping, he goes outside the department store and calls her on cell to tell her that his wife was in the store and he jus wanted to let her know that he was outside alone. Is he Flirting or what?
