Love (or relationships) is a stumbling block for anyone who is high school age no matter what. Just because you are not planning to go to community college does not mean you can pre-occupy your time with "Love".

Find a job and make yourself productive. When you are of legal age and are able to provide for yourself, you can start thinking about love. Maybe then you will be more responsible and not have unplanned pregnancies and such.

Correct me if I am wrong but young kids who think about love this early also thinks about sex and eventually do it if not already.

Love is a stumbling block anytime, you don't think right you make dumb or smart choices depending on who the other person is. All I can say is pick out a friend you really trust and when you think you are in love ask that friend what they think and tell them to be honest, you may be surprised at what you hear.
