He needs to contact an attorney, but I think after she's been gone for that long, he can simply file and get a divorce w/o her knowledge or consent, based on desertion or abandonment. Heck, in many states, you can be declared legally dead after 7 years. Depends on the state and the state laws, which is why he needs an attorney.

Yes with an attorney all that he will have to do is run an ad in the local newspaper of the last known area she was in and if no response then the divorce will go through without her

for that long, yoUr uncle can re-marry. if his former is never seen even if u did tried to reach her (as long as they dont have any communications at all for those 10 yrs of separation) your uncle can re-marries. If former wife shows up and claims that they are still married and threat to sue them, then its time to file for the legal separation and best is file for abandonment. Goodluck! =)

u may have to pay 13.00 dollars or so but it would be well worth it im guessing.
my mom gave up my bro for adoption 38 years and he found her name and went through this website and got the info in one day and was talking to her that evening and i believe he only paid $13.00 plus I was able to go through the website and find his birth father
hope this helps

I had a cousin that grew to become into murdered decrease back interior the eighty's. The police mentioned it grew to become into suicide then too. i be responsive to it wasn't. She died from eating a caustic substance that could be the comparable as ingesting drain air purifier. She grew to become into an authorized vet and would are transforming into any style of drug she needed if she grew to become into incredibly going to kill herself. i think of the police rule any loss of life suicide that they are in a position to so as that they are in a position to close the case. the comparable ingredient is actual of fireplace investigators. We had a wicker laundry basket on our dryer while our abode caught fireplace. They mentioned it grew to become into careless smoking by way of fact the ashes from the basket looked like cigarette butts.
