My fiancée and I have been engaged for a year and a half but are only now in the position to afford it. But we are finding it difficult to decide what to do.
At first I wanted to get married in a church as that was the traditional thing to do, but as neither of us is religious, my fiancée said he didn't want to do that. But I find a registry office not that special and quite impersonal.
Also the reception, I thought of putting a marquee and my mum’s garden as the family home has always been my favourite place and it is big enough. But because of past issues with family my partner wanted somewhere neutral and not at my mums. Neither of us wants a fancy sit down meal etc for a reception.
My fiancee has said he doesn't want the wedding and the reception to be in the same place either!
We did consider abroad but as family is important decided against it!
We both want it to be special!
So basically we're stuck as to how and where to have a wedding?
And suggestions greatly appreciate

My parents seem to think that guy-girl friendships don't last long. That they have to either go one way or another eventually. I have lots of close guy friends, and I think it's very possible for a young guy and girl to be good friends, even best friends without the relationship going beyond friendship. What do you think?

There's this guy who likes me, but I dont really like him like that. So homecoming's on October 21, and people are already asking eachother. I know he's thinking about asking me to go with him, and since he's a really nice guy, I don't know how to say no without hurting his feelings, because I've got my eye on someone else. Any suggestions??

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 4 years. Everything is great. We both have careers. He wants me to move in with him. However my parents just seperated and I feel bad to just leave my dad like that. Should I ask to leave or just tell them? Should I be feeling bad?

Okay i met this gurl about a week ago.. and i got her phone number and have been getting to know her really good.. yesterday we went out to lunch and it even went better.. when we were walking out she was walkin so close to me ad i thought it was a good sign that she is interested.. actually i knew we both were interested in each other all along.. but when i dropped her back to her car i forggot to give her a hug.. I KNOW BAD.. okay today i see her in the english lab.. i go to talk to her she was cool.. she told me about her friends in mexico and stuff.. but she was a little different.. she would not stare into my eyes as long and she would be quick to look away.. i called her at 8 and she forwarded my call to the voicemail after 2 rings.. lol.. i know she's not working and she was even hinting to kick it today.. :(... so i think it is obvious to say that she is playin hard to get and if not please tell me... so what would be the best way to beat her at her own game and win her heart?

In the past three years, nine of my friends got married. I've known them for years, and hung out with the couples many times when they were dating and engaged. So why is it suddenly "my husband loves that" or "my wife gave this to me"?!?! Like as soon as they said "I do," their mate no longer had a name. I could understand if it was someone I had never met, but come on! It takes less time to say "Mike" than to say "my husband." The honeymoon is over...I'd think the novelty would have worn off by now. Does anyone else hate that?

I sent my husband basically a hate email telling him that he doesn't care about my feelings, and now I want to talk about it and he's giving me the cold shoulder. Is it okay that I keep calling and emailing him? Guys what do you think and what would you do if it was you and your wife, we've been married for about 4 months.

Guys! Why do you flirt with girls and say sexual inuendos and obviously check other girls out when you are in a committed relationship?? I'm not talking about friendly flirting but serious stuff. Stuff that they wouldn't want their girlfriend knowing what they said or did. I've never had a guy cheat on me, but plenty of the guys I know act this way and they have girlfriends and it makes me so mad! I want to hit them for their girlfriends. So guys....if you do this...please enlighten us all on why?!! Thanks!! :)
