I am 27 and my bfr. is 46, he also has three children from his previous marriage.
I lived with him for over a year, and this cohabiting situation is bothering me.
I don't want to marry him, I don't think he is right for me. However, the fact that he is not offering to commit is bothering me.
I would never push him into that, cuz it wouldn't worth nothing. He has to come to it by himself.
Anyway I just want to know his reasons but I can't ask him directly.
Any suggestions on my situation???

I've am divorced, have 6 yr.old, and my bfr. takes good care of me and my child.
I am attending school right now, and don't want to break up yet.
I find the comment about father figure interesting, cuz my dad was basicly ignoring me, though my mother was overprotective. And that's true that I am more drown to responsible, level-headed older man , the total opposite of my ex husband.

Some parents provide alcohol to their underage children and even host parties where alcohol was provided to all underage kids. Also, there are some parents that smoke marijuana with their kids. Personally, I see this as a terrible message that condones the behavior and demonstrates a complete lack of parental responsibility.

I love my boyfriend so much and I get really scared sometime because I love him too much. I am scared to think about if I ever lost him. I am not sure what I would do. I feel so vulnerable and I hate feeling that way. Is this what loving someone is about?

okay me and my ex were going out for a year in a half and he broke up with me for a month over the summer then came crawling back sayin he loved me with all his heart and couldnt picture himself with another girl so i took him back and we lasted a month and a half then he tells me hes not happy and wants to break up! i cried and told him not to speak to me yet he said he still loved me he jus didnt wanna be with me...then a few weeks later he calls me late one night saying he wanted to talk, he said hes got a big problem hes bad on weed and coke now that hes told me this i worry everyday bout him but now he wont talk to me or look at me or anything and i see him everyday at school and i still worry bout him and love him wit all my heart and i cant get over him i want to help him and be with him but i cant...what do i do?

I talk to this boy that likes me every day in class because I sit right next to him. But the guy I really like and that likes me(but is a chicken) always gets really jealous and gives him mean looks. The two of them are in the same club but they don't talk much, but for the past two days, the guy I really like came and sat behind the other and talked to him about their latest activity the entire class hours. Normally it wouldn't bother me too much but I am beginning to think the guy I liked talked to the other just so he wouldn't talk to me. My friend has no idea, but I started out kind of just using him to make the other jealous, but now I am starting to like him too, just not as much. But I have known the first one way longer so I think I might be able to love the 2nd too. I just don't want to hurt either but I can't choose.
