I personally don't think pick up lines work coz they are generally cheesy or fake. You should just be you, go straight up to a woman introduce yourself and tell her you think she is beautiful and would like to get to know her better.
If she is interested she will say yes or no and the worst you can get is a no but you can walk home saying at least you tried.
Don't make a fool of yourself unless you can come up with something really funny to rab her first attention!

It depends on the age of the prospective pick-up. Usually, I ask if he knows anything about buying red meat or good vegetables?
I was raised on a farm and I can relate to people who do not know about good meat or fresh vegetables.

Pickup lines are cheesey and lame. Be original - be yourself. Compliments are nice, but women want to talk to someone who seems genuine and trustworthy, not some horny guy who'll lie and say anything to get his way into her bedroom

Try sincerity, it works better than anything else.

Don't be cheesy! JUst be real. "hello, how are you?" Would you mind chatting for a few minutes?" Keep it simple and be yourslef, don't pour it on too strong, it can make you appear to be desperate

She'll laugh, you tell her your name, you buy her a drink, you start talking.
