This guy I've been seeing (moved away but still wants to keep in touch) knows my parents are more well off than his, which doesn't bother me at all. But he's brought it up more than twice, could it be bothering him? I don't want him to think I'm too good to meet his parents, because I'm not like that at all! How do I ease this tension for him? Or is it his problem, like he's embarrassed? I want to visit his parents someday in their enviornment but I want him to know it's ok, I like people for who they are not their money. I want this relationship to work!

I have been a step parent for several year and all has been fine up until the past year or so. I now feel my spouse always takes their side no matter what and puts their feeling ahead of mine...it was never this way before. It is like them hurting my feeling is fine... Any insight or am I being a baby?

I am interested in dating a man who is 55 years of age, he has his masters is recently retired and owns a consultant business. I will be 50 years of age have a high school diploma and currently still employed.

He has invited me to ask questions of him and for some unseen reason I am unable to ask questions of him. At times, he has mentioned he feels disappointed because he is interested in me and he no longer contacts me as often as once did. I do like this person and I do not want this person to lose all interest in me.

I have asked him the basic questions, if he ever married, do you have kids and pets, what are your likes and dislikes, and what do you like to do when he isn’t working. These are vague questions and I would like to ask him significant questions, and no other questions seem to come to mind to ask of him.

i would like to give humanity the benefit of the doubt and say that it is just my bad luck but i wonder. do other married guys experience this? sometimes i feel like i cant do anything right. its pretty demoralizing to the point where i barely feel like trying anymore.

So my friend gave me a ride to school today... and I understand that it is very nice of her to give me one... but all of a sudden she picks up another kid and they start smoking weed on the way to school. It makes me highly uncomfortable... I'm all right being around her smoking cigs ( I mean it is her car), but I think that the weed is a little unnecessary. Anyway, my sister was getting a ride today too... she is 3 years younger than I am... and so after she got a ride from her, she told one of her friends what happened... anyway it got back to my friend who drove us and she sent me a text message saying that my sister should consider herself lucky to be getting a ride and that it is f*ed up that she talked bad about her smoking. so basically... Am I wrong for thinking that my friend is being extrememly over reactive about the situation... she is getting mad at me because my sister and her did not like her smoking weed this morning? I am not driving with her to school anymore though

Always put 3 daughters 1st Loved them more than life itself. Told them, showed them, gave them time, love, education, things, etc. They always said their childhood was best ever.

Last year first born called crying at 1a.m. Boyfriend had hit her, asked to be picked up. Went with husband to ger her and her stuff which she had already packed. Came back home, boyfriend showed up & refused to leave. Husband called cops, cops escorted boyfriend home. Daughter (27, economist, bipolar) can't forgive us, declared us dead, cut all contact for 1 yr. aprox.

Now, we're trying to re-establish a relationship. When we told 2 other daughters all heck broke loose. 2nd daughter (25, lawyer), refuses to be in same room as oldest sister, called us her parents dumb & worse for wanting to have contact with eldest. Will stay away if we're with sister.

3rd daughter (23, Med student) agrees w/2nd. They're angry & disrespectful of our decision. We're devastated. Suggestions please? Explanations?

Is it wrong to set your own expectations for a relationship and then ask for time and then be shot down for asking? Does he have the right?

I am starting to like the second guy too. I don't know if it is the proper thing to do. Or should I just play it out as being friendly with both and decide on who pursues me more?

I'm 21 years old, and have never had a serious boyfriend. Don't get me wrong, I date. But I always wind up just being friends with the guys. I don't know why that happens, but it does. This guy I've liked since I was in junior high asked me out recently, and we went on a date. I'm scared that if there's a second date we're going to go back to just being friends. Is there any way to stop that from happening?

She is very pretty, and she only has a few friends, so on like the 3rd day I sat beside her chated, she was still shy though. I always go to her locker just to talk to her for a bit, and she smiled at me a few times but she is still shy. How can i get her to like me?
