This has to do with marriage?

Well, anyway, I didn't ask God for anything over the weekend but I sure screamed his name alot around midnight last night.

Boy am I glad that God doesn't give me everything I ask for! I sure have made some crazy requests over the years. The most recent answered prayer began 2 1/2 years ago when I asked God to change my live! I was a drug addict for 12 or 13 years and I didn't want to live like that anymore! Thanks to God I have 2 1/2 years clean and my life has changed in so many ways! I hold down a job, blessed with a wonderful husband and I get to see my daughter on the weekends! Most of all I am grateful that each day I wake up I want to live! I no longer want to die! I have been given another chance at life and I owe it all to God!

I used to be in an unhappy marriage. I didn't at that time, know how to get out. I finally did after many years of misery. Then I met my husband. I used to pray all the time for God to bless me with true love. I almost gave up and then I met him. I believe we were put together for a reason, because this marriage is so wonderful. Never in my life have I been happier. I don't feel it was simply chance. I'm not a religious person, but I feel there is a divine being who created us all for a purpose. You can call it God or Godess or whatever. Just open your heart and what you need one day you will most likely get.

Patience is a virtue<---So if you ask God for something-be as patient as possible. I had been in some bad relationships -one abusive and the other was verbal abuse. I knew what I wanted in my spouse, so I prayed to God and waited b/c I wasn't going to deal with looking for my soul mate. I let God do that for me. Just a few months later, God led me to my husband Myles. He is everything that I ever wanted plus more.

More than once! What was it? A saturday off from work. The latest thing was my neck. I had been going to the chiropractor for a few weeks, with only temporary improvement. So I asked God if He could PLEASE PLEASE just take my neck pain away because it's so terrible and uncomfortable and I hate it! (Really I said it just like that) I got some other prayer for it too...I stopped going to the chiropractor, and I haven't felt that neck pain for a long time.

You make things happen in your own life..if it were so easy to ask God for things then we as people would be a bunch of lazy bums!

I don't believe in "GOD" but as it is said "god" will give you what you need and what you can handle. Everything else is up to you.
