She offered to destroy them. I told her that wasn't my decision to make. Was I right?

Yes, its her choice to destroy them or not. Pictures are just reflections and memories of happy times. Just because she chooses to keep them doesn't mean she wants him back or she likes him better than you. Its just a picture. Something she can keep for herself to remember something from another time. Don't worry about it..its nothing.
You did right by letting her make the choice but don't hound her if she chooses not to destroy it. Just let it go.........

Yes, and it was in my opinion the best decision. It has to be her choice with what she does regarding HER past. We all have history, our lives are a journey not a destination, and how we wish to chronicle that journey is an individual and personal choice that we have to be comfortable with. Let he make up her own mind.

Thank God u made the right decision.If u asked her to destroy it she might think of u that u r too possessive and jealous...And we girls don't like that type of guys...How can u be jealous of the stupid pic...She is with u now not with him...So get ur self together, lift ur head up and try to show more understanding...

yes you were right. i have pictures of people i dated a few years ago and 2 decades ago. they are really don't hold the meaning of love that they once did, i am keeping them to remember that time in my life. there is no real importance to them.

if it bothers you then you should be totally honest with her and if she offered to destroy them isn't that what you want anyway especially if you said something about them yea the pics re from a while back and to be honest my girlfriend had pics in her phone of her ex's but i know that she wants to be with me and not her ex's so the pics don't bother me at all but if your girlfriends pics bother you then have her destroy them she probity wants to do it anyway.
