There is this girl in a few of my classes in school, she just moved here a few weeks ago. She is very pretty, and she only has a few friends, so on like the 3rd day I sat beside her chated, she was still shy though. I always go to her locker just to talk to her for a bit, and she smiled at me a few times but she is still shy. How can i get her to like me?

I was in a similar situation a few months back. Their was this girl who was kind of like a new girl,(although she moved here last year). She was very quiet and kept to herself for the most part. I had art with her and decided to try and do what your doing. I went up to her one Friday at lunch at her table and said that I wanted to tell her something important. She says to me to write it down. So I write it down and give it to her that next Monday morning. She takes it sort of smiles and puts it in her purse. I take the smile as a good sign. So I give her some time to think about the letter. A day goes by and still no answer. I decide to give her some more time. A day quickly turned into a week and I decided to approach her and ask what she had to say. I opted to get a friend of mine to ask her instead,(because I was so nervous). He approached her and asked her. He came to me at the end of the day and told me what happened. To this day what happened still pisses me off. She acted like I never even gave her a letter at first! Then she finally said that she wasn't interested! So to boil the situation down to the essentials.
In my opinion don't bother. She is probably just a prude.

Say hi, also talk to her! Ask her how has her stay been for the past few weeks. Let her know that she can come to you for anything, become her friend first, that will show her that your not interested in one thing, that will show her that you want to get to know who she is, and not what you here from other people.If you want to just write her a letter asking her what her fav. movie is, stuff like that!If she smiled at you that means she wants to get to know you a little more! Try this and let me know how it goes.

Be yourself. For most people its hard for them in a new situation where they don't know anyone. Making new friends is hard to do.
You cant get (make) anyone like you. They will like you for who you are. Now if you are really asking "How do I get here to like me a lot?" You will know is this happens. Look into her eyes. If they are looking back into your eyes she might like what she sees.
I think you have a good start by saying "Hi" to her and chatting. Don't push anything to fast. Let fate take its course. Good luck!

Just keep doing what you are doing and she will open up more and more. Chat with her after school and ask her to go to the malt shop......that line worked back in the 50's!

I would say just keep on doing what you are doing. Shy people are shy for a reason. So once she trusts you she will open up.

You can't get her to love you but yet still you can show her how you can be a perfect person. Girls for one thing love people to talk to listen to them and be with them when ever they are in need so in short be her hero!!

Maybe she does but she is to shy. Girls like it when guys pay attention to them. it's a need for girls. might take time but keep at it.

be bold nad keep on talkn and ask her out. She is so shy she will never say anything and you dont want to regret it later for not askn her.

Be friendly, kind, harmless, and non-threatening. Also, learn to accept the truth if nothing ever comes of it.
