My partner hasnt worked for a considerable amount of time due to a disability. We dont share the same house but we divide our time between both houses. It makes sense not to live with each other right now due to financial problems. I have however, been supporting him financially and what money he does get, he does contribute. He is also in the process of looking for work and has just applied for a good position with a well known employer. My question is, is it wrong to support him if we dont actually "Live" together. I know he isnt taking advantage of me as he helps me out in a lot of ways including household duties for me etc and the decorating. He has also been looking after me whilst i was ill and i stayed at his with my son and he looked after the both of us. My family say i am wrong to but i know if he had money, he would contribute even more. Am i just being paranoid??

my ex-boyfriend's not a bad guy.. he can be a complete idiot and perv but he's not all bad. he doesn't go to the same school that i do, but i see him fairly often at parties, and it's when i see him that i fall for him. i just saw him at a party yesterday.. i tried to avoid him and i didn't talk to him at all. my friends said he was staring at me the whole time.

i'm ok when i dont see him. i know i've got tons of other important things to focus on, and i feel so stupid for only thinking about my ex for the past few hours. i don't want to fall for him.. i don't mind remaining friends but i don't want to fall for him. help on getting over this?

My boyfriend and I were playing basketball with his friend and one of my girlfriends.. My boyfriend was pressuring me to win, when I wasn't even that good in basketball and he knows it. But- then, we lost. And he was pissed off, and he just went off to go watch his friends play volley ball. He never does this- is he dissapointed in me? Do I have to meet his expectations? Why can't he accept that we lost one game, and it's not the end of the world?

I have a friend that is going out with one girl in Brisbane (3000km away). They are very close and always calling each other with him visiting her for a week every 6 months.
He has a girlfriend here and has a 1 year old child to her, she knows about his GF away (Brisbane), and lets him do it, but the GF away don't know about her and my friends daughter.
I have thought out what to do, but what would you do or say?

i was unhappy in our relationship, thinking of getting a divorce for other reasons, i met someone else that i want to be with. he caught me and wants a divorce, which is the best thing all around. but he is from another state and needs to stay with me until he can save up money to move back, which is fine with me cause i would never kick him out with out any money. but i feel really horrible for hurting him, and though he is angry with me, he is being so nice to me! we still care about each other and wish nothing bad to each other, but i don't know how to handle being "roommates" with him, it is so wierd!

We used to be roommates (a few years ago) & I have since grown apart. I want to let him down easy without hurting his feelings too much.

I'd like to start some traditions in my family and I need some ideas. What traditions does your family have or what traditions did your family have when you were growing up? (If it helps, I have two small children, both girls 4 and almost 2.)

We will have been dating for six months next month, which is also the day of her 18th birthday. She says that she is madly in love with me and it is a very strong relationship. Would me buying her a ring freak or out or would she like it?
