I am a graduate student and at this formal dinner for a club for college students I met Jermaine, a 25 year-old sophomore in college. Jermaine talks very intelligent, has his own place and own car. We got into a nice conversation and he asked for my phone number. The next night (Saturday) he called me up and told me that he had baked this pound cake and not finished it. He offered the rest to me. I said "sure" and he drove over. The thing is, when I came down to retrieve it he handed me the cake very seriously, like he was making a delivery. I gave him a thank you note in return, and he took the note and looked at me like he was almost insulted. Then he asked "Where are you going?" and I said "nowhere" and kind of laughed. That was it- he drove off. My thing is why would he give me pound cake and also act so serious? I hardly know him so if he likes me, isn't this a weird way to show it? Has anyone had something similar happen to them? Is he interested in me? Im confused.

I have 2 other children, 3 and 4. My wife is th mother for all three of them. Now my two kids are well behaved. My step son is bad ALL the time never listens talks back and his room is always a mess. At the time im in afghanistan and my wife told me the other day she caught him, he was peeing on my living room floor. Keep in mind he was not sleeping , it was in the middle of the day. when she asked why, he replied the baby's did it 1st. she knew the babies were with her, she asked why he lied. he said "I dont know" asked why he did it . same thing "I dont know" hes also a pig he sneaks food in his room and hides the garbage in dresser under the bed... Im just trying to find out what to do with him... is he too young for military school. anybody have ideas.. hes real bad. my friends thought i was going over board but once they seen this kid they quickly seen how bad he is.. and his dad is out of the pic. no idea where he is.

me and my X broke up 4 years ago,then i had i BF who is my current BF.
when we broke up i didn't know the reason,my X didn't tell me y he wanted to give up on me. and so i lived happy 4 years with my current.
a day before i called my X,and before that we never talked,when i called him the conversation was normal and somehow friendly. And i asked him y he left me. he explaind to me y was that. and honestly from time to time i used to wonder about it and wanted to know.

i think it's stupid, because if you don't hold the same beliefs then they shouldn't try and force theirs upon you...
