about sex before marriage, bisexuals, and homosexuals...
they say repent for your sins etc....
i think it's stupid, because if you don't hold the same beliefs then they shouldn't try and force theirs upon you...
does any one think the same way? EACH TO THEIR OWN!

Also...why do some religious people assume atheists or agonostics have no morals....just because we're not religious doesn't mean we were dragged up rather than brought up!

firstly being a christian, im not offended at all by any of these answers. but i am going to say that as you have said before... not All Christians are like this...including myself. im anything but a perfect christian. but there are people who are out there who do judge you for doing things. i myself have been judged for some of the things which i have done with my boyfriend. both myself and my boyfriend are christians and to us what we do is our own choice. we both dont believe in sex before marrige, but that still doesnt mean we cant have some fun. and there are some people who would dissagree with me when i say that and that even having your arm around your boyfriend is a bad thing. but to me yes im very proud to be a christian and no one out there could ever make me deny Christ EVER! but i do make bad choices and sometimes i know what im doing is bad but i still do it and if people judge me they judge me but we are all only human and we sin, its just a plain fact. but they shouldnt judge you because you dont believe in the same thing as them. that in its own is wrong.....
sorry for my answer being a tad too long lol :)

They get off on telling other people what to do. In fact most people who go that berserkly religious are insecure and fragile. They are dependant on beliefs that have already been modelled for them. They may believe but have no right to make believe.
I believe in karma, I believe certain things are sins because they hold you back- trap you in this reality with false prophecies and incentives. Such things should not be chosen, but that should be upto he who chooses. When you try to oppress, abolish or be intolerant about something it raises its head from the mud and will ultimately consume you. It is better to know your enemy, tolerate your enemy and above all to NOT choose your enemy.
The snake who tempted Eve will bite this time, bite hard on those who believe blindly and do not mind their path.
Morality is not the dillemma of faith, it never will be, morality defines an imperfection in which a true atheist may find his sought perfection.
And on a final note - EACH TO THEIR OWN!

Some people mistakenly think they can sure the evils of the world if they go around pointing it out... Some people just feel better when they point out the faults of others (be it a sin or just poor judgment or selfishness). It allows them to feel superior and better about themselves. The best thing to do is to not let them see that it bothers you. As a Christian I can tell you that anyone who really follows Jesus Christ knows that judging others isn't cool. It's one thing to disagree with someones lifestyle. That's just as much someones right as it is the other person's right to live their life. We don't all have to think that everything to goes on is right, fair, or morally correct. BUT... We are responsible for showing love and mutual respect for each other as individuals and human beings. If we try to show love in everything we say in do we will be much better off. People need to learn that different isn't always bad. Thank for not sticking all Christians with the judgemental label. The proper way to communicate and behave is something that can take maturity and time to develop.

I am a devote Catholic, but I personally believe to each his own.
I have had some real internal battles about this with my self. I know what my religion says. And I do believe in it. But I have some good friends who are gay, and others that live together with out being married. I don't want to be a hypocrite. And at times I have had people tell me I am a poor excuse for a Christian, because I refuse to judge people by what they do, I would rather judge them for who they are, and then decide if I want them for a friend.

look gurl just blow them off. thats what jesus did and he didnt care what other thaught about him. Weather you are an athiest or a religous person who cares waht the others preach. I think realigous people like to preach the word to get others in thier relligon and thats fine cus atiest also express thier word. I just listen to people and learned to ignore it. Many people claim they found GOD when in fact i never new he was lost. I belive im a catholic so thats what i am and maybe you are a atiestr or what ever you want to be and just shhhhhhhhhhhh. Who the wants a bunch of religous people preaching on back of them what they dont want to belive. Lookt Jesus he died for it bu that doesnt mean I guess people try to do the same. I havent gone to church in a long while maybe years but i belive in GOD does that make me a fake catholic. I think not its what you have in our heart that makes you what you are. I have friends That are in the scientology religion thing and i just listen to them when they start preaching like the rest of the preachers i dont like. Fact of the matter im with you to each thier own ,but you too have to try to contribute jsut listen to this people that want to bug you and eventully they will go away. When ever a mormon or some other religion people come knowcking on my door i like to invite thme in the house and just turn up my music real loud. They eventu8ally tell me I have the devil in and may GOD help me and they leave and never come back again but they do send somone else. I am going to keep on tdong this till they get the point that im a catholic and i really dont care about what they preach.

I think u got the issue off on the wrong foot...,
Its the Morality people that oppose that - coz its detrimental to the basic building block of the Society....
Its only harmonious that most Moral people are also Religious - whatever the belief.
Moral of the Story : MORAL !!

Because it is impossible to be religious without being hypocritical in some way.
I'm not saying that only religious people are hypocritical, I think we all are, it's just that trying to follow a religious code that was designed to control people a few thousand years ago cannot achieve much else!

not that i am offended nor am i a religious person, i am a born again believer. walking or trying to walk as christ did. being what they say Christ-like religious is man made on how you worship or serve your god. now as to your question. people are only sharing what is in the word and yes you are right about being not just hearers or sayers of your beliefs or what is in the bible but also doers, cause you or we even me are always being watched. always, and people are gonna see if you are messing up just so they can have an excuse to continue to do wrong. or not be accountable for doing wrong. we all know what is right and wrong to do we just try to find something in someone else to justify or not changing so if we can fault those who are trying to lead us in the right way, even though we dont like the way it makes us feel if we can just by cause continue to do what we feel we will. some dont fault these deads of others it is the spirits that are in them not the person. a christian is taught to love regardless and your enemies more than yourselves. no one can judge but God, we just direct or try to teach right from wrong and some are more persistant with it than others. of course repent for your sin cause they want you to live. they are just trying to be that light in the darkness that one has been living. what is so wrong with even just trying it. that right there is the task for those who have such objections. try
christ you just might like him, cause he loves you anyway

I am sure that religious people wonder why non-religious people can be so judgemental about their beliefs. The fact is that if you weren't so judgemental and you really believed "to each their own" you would just let religious people be religious and live your own life.

because someone who had something to so with what went into the bible thought (gays,premaridal-sex, or bisexuality) was wrong. So they put it as the "Official" word of god. And those who chose to follow blindly, And not qwestion the bible and it's logic, reasoning,or ways dose not like it when someone dose. Because it scares them! They think that you should not qwestion their beliefes.
