I really want one of those rings that has the boy's and girl's birthstones with the names engraved. If I hint to my boyfriend (of 3 years) that I want it, is it still special if he gets it for me? Or does he have to think of it himself for it to "count?"

My guy friend who I am crushing on wanted me to walk with him home and skip practice (Im in this physical fitness club at school to prepare you for the army) so I could watch him play football with the guys ( he also has a thing for me). I told him no and that I might meet up with him later. Well, practice was really really tiring ( we ran a few miles in the heat and I nearly passed out). Im a good friend, so even though I was beat after practice, I still went to go see him. All his buddies were there so he completely ignored me. He barely said a word to me and I was getting mad. I do not like being ignored-at all. So I just hung out with a few friends and we played pass. When I left, he didnt even say bye to me and now Im considering on whether I can handle being his girlfriend. Is it just a guy thing or is he being an azz? Im gonna talk to him tomorrow about it but calmly, I dont want to make it look like it was a big deal. He does this when hes around his guy friends and it bugs me

i have two girls coming ovver who are my friends and we have to spend the night at my house. its not as big as theirs i think and my pool isnt done being built. we're all thirteen, and we dnot really know what to do. and i want to kind of not have these girls extremely bored the whole time they're here...

being rich means your miserable? I have dated guys that were poor and didnt find them to be that nice and loving. I know alot of unhappy poor people and have known some happy rich people. I would rather be rich and unhappy than poor and slightlyhappy. At least if you are rich you can go out and shop or travel to feel better where as there is nothing to do when you are poor and can't afford anything.

Is this normal to feel like that at times or is this a sign that I should run? He says that he would not leave. "'I’m stuck in a miserable marriage" is what he says. The hard part for me is that when we are not fighting things are cool. He tells me he loves me and we have good sex. Could he be faking this, or is it just his ego talking when we fight? The hurtful thing is that he seems very convincing when he says he loves me and when he says he does not.

Basically it starts like this, well I have this bestfriend and hes been my good friend for about 9 years and he has been going out with his girlfriend for about 5 years. I am good friends with both of them. I think I his girlfriend is very atttractive. Well I have been going out with her as friends for a long time like to grab something to eat, only as a friend. But my friend recently got locked up. He is going to be in there for about month and a half. Well I am falling for his still girlfriend. It's not like I intend to do so, It's just now we spend alot of time together just hanging out because we are friends, and my friend is locked up. I am really falling for her and it's hard to not think about it. If I could I would let it go right away. What to do?

I was one of 12 bridesmaids in my sister's wedding about 9 years ago. Her wedding was gigantic and cost she and her husband over $40,000! My wedding is tiny (65 guests maximum) and my fiance has only 3 groomsmen (he doesn't want any more). I live on the East coast and my sister lives in California. She is 39 years old and has a husband and daughter (my neice, whom I love).We are not extremely close (7 years apart). I have my best friend as my maid-of-honor (who live 4 hours away), my other best friend as a bridesmaid (another 4 hours away)and I have grown very close to my fiance's sister (who lives 15 mintues from us) and asked her to be one as well.
I figured that my sister would not be interested in being a bridesmaid because she is so far away and busy (she wouldn't come to the bachelorette party), and to be honest, there were friends of mine that I am closer with that I'd rather have as bridesmaids, since I only have 3 spots and we're on a tight budget.

What do I do??

Ive known this girl for a year, she is drop dead gorgeous, very confident and about the same age. I am married 29 and going through a trial seperation from my wife. Last wk went out for a casual sales lunch with her and one thing led to another and we kissed on the ride back, I got to second base, we would have gone farther but I made her 2 hours late for her next meeting. Afterwards she wanted to see me again (to close the deal...) because she was in town for another day, I got freaked out because I have literaly only been single for a week. She's single. My brother was dating a girl and they had a daughter together. The baby took her dad's last name. now the parents are broken up. neither of them have enough money to go to court, the mom just keeps holding the baby from her dad. She doesn't have any reason to do this. actually the mom had been on drugs in the past and may still be. the dad is a great parent to his other daughter (with a different mother) which he has custudy of. My brother is paying alot of money for child support of this baby because suposidly the mom did not have a job. but today she called him and said that she has a job making $12 an hour and she has a boyfriend. She said that she is gonna change the baby's last name to her boyfriend's last name. Can she do this?
