being rich means your miserable? I have dated guys that were poor and didnt find them to be that nice and loving. I know alot of unhappy poor people and have known some happy rich people. I would rather be rich and unhappy than poor and slightlyhappy. At least if you are rich you can go out and shop or travel to feel better where as there is nothing to do when you are poor and can't afford anything.

Whoever said that money can't buy happiness is a liar... Jk... It seems that a lot of people with money are unhappy because they are bored...

In my life, I have found that you can be miserable in any circumstance, or happy in any circumstance. It is truly a matter of perspective. The key to note, is whether or not these people actually feel happy on the inside. There is a difference between being happy and smiling. There is also a difference between being content and Happy. AND some people are actually Happy when they seem miserable. I know it doesn't make sense, but it is the way it is. The rich people who were happy, may be happy, maybe not. Only they know in their inner core. The poor people you know who were miserable, maybe it isn't their poorness that makes them miserable, but something else, that anybody can go through whether rich or poor. I do believe Happiness is a choice. But I also believe it takes a long way to get to that choice and to make it lasting. You may not believe it is a choice, because your heart will tell you otherwise. But as you learn ways to lift your spirit through whatever means, God, or whatever, you will also find that inner peace, joy, and happiness, are all different things. Happiness comes from without. Joy comes from within. And inner peace shows up when the two are joined in harmony. But sadness to unfortunately is just as much of a choice. I am not really saying that we just choose to be happy and we will be. No. We make the choice that we do what it takes to achieve that happiness. That is how happiness is a choice. The same with sadness. If we become sad, or happy, it is only a moment of a single second that can change that feeling, unless we take steps to overcome it, or stay there.

Being rich or poor is a state of mind. I've seen people that are living a very modest life and they are very happy and I've seen miserable rich people. If money makes you happy, enjoy yourself but keep in mind that there will be pitfalls along the way, brace yourself.

A certain minimum amount of money makes people more happy than being poor. But more money beyond that minimum doesn't make them any happier!

There was an article in the paper that said the minimum amount was $50,000 per year. As long as you made that, you we basically free of typical financial headaches, and it made you a lot happier than if you had less than that.

However, they found that making a lot more than $50,000 that didn't signficantly raise people's happiness any higher than the person making $50,000.

To be poor and to be rich is situational thing but love is something very unique. It doesnt matter wether you have or have not money love will be there or will not be there.Love is not materal thing,It is intangible, sensitive and very delicate. You can love poor one and enjoy or not enjoy life at all depend on the circumstance.Love can make money, but money can never make true love.

Happiness isn't in money, its an attitude, and a choice. I could be really depressed if I look at all the things going wrong in my life, or I could count my many blessings and enjoy this short life I live.

Money cannot buy you love and money can't make you happy.

But it does make things a little better to deal with.
On the same token it don't make you any better!!
