Okay, so this person contacted me about a personal ad, and after about 30 minutes of conversation, we had to part ways. I thought our "meeting" went well, but he hasn't contacted me or appeared online for 5 days. This person hasn't even returned an email. Should I count the said individual out or give them more time?

Considering that your acquaintance hasn't appeared on-line may indicate that perhaps he is not around - having nothing to do with not contacting you. Perhaps a personal obligation took precedence, went out of town or had a computer meltdown.

My advice - try contacting this person and see what happens. In the meantime - until there is something to concern yourself with, keep your chin up and smile.

take it from some one that has ben thrue the same thing you have. I would give up because they probly wont talk to you anymore Dont think it was your falt because I go thrue the same thing all the time on myspace.com and I talk to some one for about 3 days and then they act like they dont know me so if I am talking to some one and they dont write back I give up on that

i think i'd count them out, or at least pull the reigns back a bit. they're probably dating around to find a suitable match and your likely not the only personal ad that they've responded to. good luck!

There could be any number of reasons why he isn't online - I wouldn't take it personally. If you've sent him an e-mail, I'd leave it at that and keep talking to new people. If he's interested, he'll let you know.

Count them out. Five days is more than enough time.

try waiting a little bit longer if he dosent respond to you in a couple days then just let it go and try to find something else you always have to wait 1 week after and if they dont call you back by then they probly dont plan to.
