How do women show that they like a guy?

Question

I can't figure out if this chick is into me. I went to highschool with her, now i see her every once and a while. She always sounds real enthusiastic to talk to me.....
What do you think?
ps, i suck at talking to women, so asking her if she likes me is a stretch.

I would watch the body language. is her posture open? (arms uncrossed, body facing you etc). Does she stand close to you or further apart? Does she leave room for an invitation in the conversation? Is she trying to find common ground?

Women who are interested in a man will often stand in a closer proximity physically, if you are sitting they will lean forward and smile alot to show interest. They may leave room for an invitation by saying something about "Oh yes, I do like coffee its a great way to visit with friends". . . You don't have to ask her outright if she likes you, but you could put an invitation out there that is more of a platonic thing and see how that goes. Ask her to have lunch or coffee or something that isn't quite considered a date. Good luck :) most women don't feel they're that "good" at talking to guys either - - - so don't worry.
