I recently met this guy who has treated me like a princess, and i can tell that he is sincere. He is very loving and affectionate he is everything I always looked for in a man. Unfortunately we are in a really long distant relationship, and, he has a problem with me wearing certain things, and wearing perfume and makeup. He also seems to have a bit of a jealous streak. I talked to my mom about this and she was not happy at all, but at the same time I think she dislikes him because she is afraid i will move to be closer to him. She tells me that I shouldnt waste my time with someone who is trying to control me. I dont know if her reasons are because she wants whats best for me or that she is afraid of losing me. He also does not understand my moms point of view and I feel like I am having to choose between my family and the possible love of my life. This is really affecting my life, I cant think or concentrate. I dont know what to do, someone please help me!!!

Im a very nice guy. Very smart and a swimmer who holds varsity records in my school. Im pretty shy though. What i dont get is why are girls into the hunks like the football players. The girls always complain how their boyfriends are all depressed when they lose a football game and take it out on them. Yet they still are more attracted to them. Also, where I work (the waterpark) the girls are into these two dumbass obnoxious stupid guys. I just dont get it. One of the obnoxious guys got a hold of this one girl yesterday and was holding her down on the ground. It was obvious that she was getting hurt, but he kept laughing. Then today she had marks on her arms but she was still talking to him. I just dont get it. Im nice, smart, and very sincere. Why are girls not into me?

Ok only people with T-Mobile. Someone told me that he got his phone disconected cos he didnt pay. But that he still could receive calls and msgs. I have cingular and for all i know if your phone is disconected you cant make or receive calls... So with T-Mobile you can receive or what??

I'm resently Married and already I see the difference in the way that me and my husband interact. He is always trying to fix things and I feel like he is trying to fix me. He can't understand that I am going to have feelings about things and he can't do anything about it. He just need to understand that I am going to need my space from time to time. I'm dating a new a guy who I think is awesome.
I couldn't be more smitten, and up till now, things have been going well. (almost a month) He has left a rose at my door with a nice note to let me know that he is very interested.
He recently left to be at school for two weeks and since leaving, we've talked on the phone regularly, and he texts me sweet things every other day or so. I know his family well (I'm friends w his sister) so I know that he is genuine....ANYWAY-- today sent out a card to him. It was hand painted, (I'm an artist) and simple. Since he is studying German, I wrote I miss you in german on the inside.
So, I thought that it was too simple, and wanted to include a poem...I found one that said how I feel in a cute way. But, now, I'm wondering if I got caught up in the moment...it was short, and compared the days we've spent together to the kind of movie you rewind and watch over and over again...Ugh...now I'm thinking it sounds obsessive. How do I fix this?

I am a stay at home Mom, take care of my Dad, he manages the money. He's never given me extra to buy the kids any bedroom furniture or chest of drawers to keep their clothes in, but he collects guns, hunts, stuffs trophy kills and thinks giving me a car to drive is like a gift, rather than a requirement. The money I get is for groceries, gasoline, doctor, prescriptions, vet, grooming. Why does he think that is all I deserve and that he is giving so much. We cost him by water food and electricity and roof over our head. Non maintained roof at that. Is he wrong or am I selfish or something?
