I am a mother of a lil one who is 13 months old she is crawling and walking along the couches and tables in our house. She can be quite the handful when it comes to doing my homework or studying for school...I have done the play pin thingy...study when she sleeps...toys and books to try to keep her busy BUT...they only keep her busy for only a few mintues....and the play pin thingy she crys because she wants to get out...I can't get her away from tearing my books and papers up....I just want to know if anyone had this senario and maybe had another answer on what worked for them...So mothers I need your help..p.s. My husband works during the day and I go to school at night so going to the library is out for now...If anyone has any answers please feel free to let me know...thanks 2 everyone who answers....

I find myself not liking the ganster type of black people like rappers and stuff. He got divorced within the past few months. I definitely don't want to be too eager, and I know he will need time. However, he shows interest in me by asking about me through friends, and by his conversations. I don't know what subtle hints to give, just to let him know that if he is interested in a possible relationship, that I am too. But at the same time, I want them to be subtle enough so he doesn't think I am rushing or pushing him too soon. I have a feeling he is beginning to think I am uninterested, because I make little eye contact and conversation with him. However, I am only doing that so he doesn't feel pressured, or anything along those lines. I understand divorce is difficult, and each person needs a certain amount of time to get their life back in order. He didn't have kids with his first wife, and they were only married for three years. I've been with my husband for 9 years. We have a 1year old daughter.
When our daughter was 8 months old I walked into the room and found my husband watching porn and our 8 month old daughter was sitting next to him looking at the TV. Needless to say I flipped out. And he acted like it was no big deal, Which made me flip out even more.
I have been uncomfortable with him ever since. I told him I was going to call CPS and he said,"Go ahead, you can't prove it, it's my word against yours." So I called CPS and they came to the house (when he was not home) I told CPS what happened and then they had me call him and he said, That he would never do anything like that! and CPS believes him because I don't have proof. They think that I am crazy.

I just recently went to court over a child custody petition. His attorney was so horribly rude, and just spitefull, that I am questioning his intentions on our case. I represented myself, so I had to deal with this jerk, and all of his rude comments. Even when court was over, this man was still a total jerk. He made comments about my being a bad person, and such. I was like. ummm... you don't even know me! All that you know about me is what my ex has told you, so you have no basis for that very uninformed opinion. And now, I called his new attorney to set up some visitation, and this guy is acting like I shouldn't have even called him, that I should have had MY attorney call him. WTF?? I am a big girl... I can handle figuring out a time to set up visitation on my own. Geeze.. I mean, last I checked, I am capable of speaking the English language! GEEZE!
