I've been with my husband for 9 years. We have a 1year old daughter.
When our daughter was 8 months old I walked into the room and found my husband watching porn and our 8 month old daughter was sitting next to him looking at the TV. Needless to say I flipped out. And he acted like it was no big deal, Which made me flip out even more.
I have been uncomfortable with him ever since. I told him I was going to call CPS and he said,"Go ahead, you can't prove it, it's my word against yours." So I called CPS and they came to the house (when he was not home) I told CPS what happened and then they had me call him and he said, That he would never do anything like that! and CPS believes him because I don't have proof. They think that I am crazy.
I want to leave him but he tells me that I can't keep his daughter from him. He says all will have her 50% of the time. I don't want him to have any custody of her. I am freaking out. What should I

First get hooked up with a good counselor (only you, not couples ) and then talk to a lawyer. That type of behavior is considered sexual abuse, when you expose young children to sexual activity or let them watch porn. It is VERY WRONG. Please get help soon... good luck

Talk to an attorney and get it documented about him having the child watching porn. You may have to start documenting more stuff, but it pays to cover your butt and make sure you get all the proof you need. The lawyer may be able to give you some ideas. That's just sick of your husband. It's also BS that the CPS didn't investigate further.

First porn is wrong.
second, the baby won't know you could have sex with your husband in the same room and it won't cause the child harm i.e. what to expect the toddler years ****book
third give him a second chance, by that I mean, it could have been a mistake, you know him best, maybe the porn caught his eye and he didn't change it in time, or maybe he thought the baby was asleep.
4th- if you thought he was doing something sexual to the child, go to a lawyer, protect the child first, but if not. relax tell him never to do it again and let it go.
I have a real problem with pedophiles but maybe (it is possible) that he wasn't doing anything sick to or with the child. If you know or don't think he was really you have to let it go and give him another chance.

Well, first of all. The 8 month old does not understand EVERYTHING. you shouldnt freak out that much! Guys watch porn , and if you have been with this guy for 9 years, then you should have known that he likes to watch porn!! trust me the kid will be fine!!

WTH? You called CPS on your own husband over that???? Yeah i'd be mad too but it's a damn baby, come on.
If you leave him and you're afraid he'll watch porn in front of her, tell your lawyer and he'll help you out.
