i am white, black, and south american, and i am dating a black male, we r always getting nasty and dirrty comments about our "mixture" but i dont understand at all, because its my choice, so whats your opinion? and i would love 2 tlk 2 n e one if they are also in this boat....

Could their nastiness have anything to do with having to watch this behavior? Do YOU have a problem with your interracial relationship and need reassurance?

Screw everyone! I am in an interracial relationship as well. I am black, and my bf is white. We're at the point where we don't even notice other people staring unless someone points it out to us. What you have to do is ignore the comments and stares. Don't let anyone make you feel like you are doing something wrong, if they don't like it that's their problem. Life is too short to be un-happy. It's a free country, do what makes you happy.
Have you ever seen the movie "Save The Last Dance"? There is a scene where the couple is on a bus and she stares at them so they start making out and taking things to a bit of a higher level just to piss her off...that works too, make a joke out of others stupidity.

That sucks that people give you dirty looks. Honestly, if you have feelings for the guy and he treats you well, then that is all that matters. To hell with what all the other people think. This IS 2006 and NOT 1906. Race does not matter, it is what is inside someone's heart that does. That's my opinion and I"m stickin to it.

Nice mixture you and he have! I love diversity. My family (both sides) are diverse, so I grew up with it. I am attracted to guys outside my race (Black, Irish, Dutch, Mexican, Cherokee).There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. God loves it. If he didn't, he wouldn't have created different races. But you know people have to show their ignorance and stupidity. You just have to ignore it. You go girl!

I have nothing agaisnt it. We are humans right? And we can choose who we like...sometimes we dont, like if you love someone you really dont want to....sorry for getting side tracked. The people who are mean like that are just rude and should go far far away and never be seen from again.

I don't have this problem but I really believe that you can't help who you like. Go for it and ignore everybody else. If they make a rude comment just compliment them in return really sarcastically.

i'm white and i've dated out of my race before, and if people were staring or commenting, i didnt notice, cuz i just dont care what people think, and like you said, its your choice, not theirs. people who have a problem with it are living in the stone age and need to grow up.
i guess we're just lucky that our parents taught us to be open minded and think for ourselves.
