If he is that inconsiderate, then maybe you should hint at it. If you still get nothing, then bring it to his attention. Most of us guys are not thinking that there could be something missing like that. When we are interacting with one another (not in sexual ways, just "hanging out with the guys"), we really don't think of that.
It could be that he is comfortable with the relationship and that he isn't concerned with having to say anything like that. Though, we guys do have to say those type of things every once and awhile to let you lady's know that we care and that we notice.

Yep... If compliments are what you want, and this guy doesnt do it in the beginning... He NEVER EVER WILL... Some guys (especially those who came from divorced moms and dads) Dont know how to be romantic and dont want to learn. SO yea... If those are the kinds of things you want in a guy... Leave him, He wont change, and you shouldnt have to be the poor girl who tries to change him.

a woman no matter if she is ugly or pretty or the hottest thing in the world should be complimented on little stuff, big stuff...so you need to be around somebody that does that because it will make you feel better about yourself but remember it goes back to the old saying ...whats good for the goose is good for the gander

I would. If he has not complimented you, I dont think he has that much interest. Even the most braindead man could find a way of telling you something nice. You dont need that! Find somebody who treats you right!

sounds like you dont understand guys, try reading love smarts by dr phil...its a great book its like a man manual...that and there isnt enough information about the situation to really judge whether you should dump him or not.
