There's this chick I really want to impress. I have a date with her for tomorrow. Now, I'm thinking about taking her to my local automotive junkyard for our first date. I think it will be a bonding experience, because I can have her help me pull the parts I need for my '73 Pinto. Hey, a little grease and mud never hurt anybody, right? And then to finish off our date, I was thinking about hitting the Mickey D's drive-thru. We'll just eat in the truck, we'll be too muddy to go inside.

What do ya think?

your with a person for seven years that you have kids with things arent going your way so you meet a person online talk to them almost a year, think there right so you leave the person youve been with for seven years get married to the person you meet online and realize 28 days later that the marriage was a mistake so you leave and go back to the one you were with before. (my girlfriend did this to me now the guy she ran off and married is talking about abandonment charges.) does he have any ground to stand on.

Calling foolishness "bravery" doesn't actually make it bravery.

Bravery is doing what you need to do, despite the odds, despite your fears, despite opinions telling you otherwise.

Foolishness is throwing yourself in front of danger you don't need, the world doesn't need.

Steve Irwin was a showboater. He was an arrogant fool who pushed, tossed, prodded, yanked and tussled with animals that wanted to be left alone. He forgot the basic truth. Animals are noble yes. But part of what makes them noble and animals is that they're dangerous. They want to be left alone. Leave them alone. He didn't. He acted like he was untouchable. He endangered his children thumbing his nose at the world and these dangerous animals. And for it all, he died.

What did he accomplish? He got his family rich. That's something to call him brave for?

Again, I say, foolish.
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Do you think he is right??

I've been with my boyfriend for a little over a year and a half. We have had problems communicating ever since our very first fight. He has a temper and I have a hard time dealing with that. He says the best thing to do when he gets hot tempered in a middle of an argument is to leave him alone until he cools off. I have a hard time doing that because I feel like when we have problems we should just face it, deal with it, and move on. My way does not work with him. We both end up getting so angry at each other and we say harsh things that we don't mean. Everytime I bring up something that bothers me his temper shows. I feel like it is so hard to talk to him. I am always so hesitant to talk to him about things that bother me because I don't want to deal with his temper. He always ends up saying that I am too sensitive. He thinks that some of the issues that I bring up are ridiculous. I love him, but sometimes I feel like it should be easier. Is it just me?

Hi, I am a 24 years old Asian American male and have always had fondness or or felt attraction toward white women. However, due to my timid and shy nature, I have never been able to ask any of them out for a date although I had some white female friends.
I remember reading an article on how rare AM/WF couple is compared to AF/WM couple. It is more apparent on the street. AM/WF is almost non-existent. You only see them once every blue moon. Here are my questions.
1. What do you see of my realistic chance of marrying a white woman?
2. If you happen to be a white woman, what is your feeling toward Asian guy as potential dating/marriage partner?
Thanks for any insights.

Should I be concerned about this relationship becoming abusive?
I'm getting married in the next few weeks but, I have some concerns. Lately he seems more controlling but, only in the way of what he says is what goes, regardless of what I say. Sometimes he talks to me like I'm only 12 yrs. old. Lately when we wrestle around he hits me harder than what I think he should. BUT he has never been physically abusive at all. He has called me names when we've gotten in arguments and only then. We petsitted for some friends of ours and the puppy would use the bathroom in the floor and he would spank it too hard, hard enough I couldn't watch and then throw it in the floor. My bird bit him and he thumped it and knocked it out for a while and told me that anything in is house is not going to act like that. I'm not sure if it something to worry about or not, as far as the way he might oneday treat me? He has always treated me like any girl would want to be treated, that is why I'm confused???.

... of my mother concerning the best for my 4 yrs old child, without breaking the relationships with her? She is very hard person, doesn't admit different opinions from hers, acuses me without ground that I'm doing bad things to my child (sending him to daycare, training him the toilet habits (although obstructed by her, this was succesfull), going out with him for over 3 hours (she controls that), training him to eat properly (for now without success, and this problem is partly generated by her, two years ago - every contact with her resulted in: her, feeding him with bottle like a baby, after which he wasn't interested in food for 4 hours). Now she is talking to him that I'm a bad person. We had many fights over the issues of my motherhood. She threatens me with stuff like inheritance etc. She even doesn't have nerves to take care of my child for more than 15 minutes. When he was at their place for more than 1 hour, my father did all the care. But, he won't help me about this issue.

I don't have any ideas what to do with my hair, and I have little more than a month to find the perfect 'do. My hair is red, though color can change, about 3 inches longer than shoulder length (maybe more).. and it's taken me a year to grow it that long. It's also naturally curly, except that at this length it's mainly wavy. If i wet it and blow-dry, it curls up like crazy.

I have a comb veil that's got a train to match my dress (http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.jsp?stid=951&prodgroup=159). Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Then he decides to go out with one of my friends. He is saying all these things about me wanting to be with him and flirting with him. He's making my friend mad at me by putting these ideas in her head. I dont know what to do.

How do I approach a girl who im pretty sure likes me, but she has a boyfriend? We are pretty close and good friends, and she knows that I know she has a boyfriend. But she rarley talks about him and if she does its always bad things about him. I know everyone on here says to tell her I like her, but im afraid that will make situation between us awkward. WHat you think?
