The number one is RESPECT followed by TRUST and then LOVE . This is what I had in my relationship with my husband until he past away.Respect each other, Trust each other and Love each other.
As for sexual intercourse it up to you if you feel like it is important to you then by all means have it but if you dont' want it be upfront about it with that person like my niece has been with hers.
