They try to programme women to believe it.

To a degree they are because under our humanity are millions of years of evolution from creatures that were different. If you have seen how chimpanzee or gorilla societies work you will have a picture of our probable ancestry.
But that program is underneath a lot that is different, where men also desire bonding, love, security and family. The urges are there still. I am 55 and still look at attractive women with desire. I expect I always will. I have been faithful to my wife for all of our 18 years together. Much as I love sex, it is not everything.
And just for the record, the genetic program for women comes through the same evolution. There are different aspects to it, but women "cheat" too.

No, not all of them are. In fact they are the ones who stick on women if they consider they found the right lady . And sometimes I really believe that we are those encouraging them to reject monogamy, as you nicely called their wish to possess more than a woman and to have more than a stable relationship. Hard to recognize it but it's true.

no one is naturally monogomous it's something you have to programme yourself with.

it's the way your character developes and the kind of person you want to be that determines if yu can be faithful.

relationships need worked on nothing is natural. x
