I think there is only one way to understand that he is the right person... When you witness that he really cares about your problems and tries to solve them or if he starts to cry with you when you are very gloomy or when you are telling him how important he is for you, you can understand that he is the right, sensible and brilliant person for you... This is only my opinion...:))))

Quite simply, you can't see into the future so I don't understand how you could KNOW that someone will be with you for the rest of your life.
All I can suggest is that you take life as it comes and so if somethings feels right for you at the moment then go for it. When you say 'spend the rest of of my life with' do you mean marriage? I suppose that's slightly different because then you are committing to someone regardless of what happens (til death do us part etc), although nowadays people have their own wedding vows.
In our modern world people are more individualistic and unwilling to put up with situations (including being married) that no longer suit them. So it seems that knowing that you will be with someone until you die is just unrealistic. I mean you may well stay with them for your life, but you won't KNOW that for certain when you start out.
I guess it depends on your own principles but it does seem to me that there is a romantic notion versus reality and in this day and age the reality is that more and more people divorce.
Still, that's only my opinion, I don't mean to across all negative about it, just trying to be philosophical.

When do you ever know if your choices in life are right....
If you love the person & would never cheat on them, it's a start. Some people think that they should feel their heart pound evertime they see the person they think is the one...
Some people are never happy & will keep searching for Mr /Ms right... probably never finding him/her.
Some think the grass it greener on the other side...
I guess the saying "you don't know what you've got until it's gone" is completely true. If you could imagine yourself without the person your with then maybe they are not the right person for you. Then again you managed without them before, you should be able to again. Also if your questioning it now they your obviously have doubts... maybe your subconcious it trying to tell you somthing. Guess you just got to go with your heart.

if you think him as "this guy" den you can't.
you need to think always as your partner in all respect.
don't try to be his boss or don't allow him to be your boss.
just think both of you are for each other.
this is the best way to be spend whole life with "each other".
