There's this chick I really want to impress. I have a date with her for tomorrow. Now, I'm thinking about taking her to my local automotive junkyard for our first date. I think it will be a bonding experience, because I can have her help me pull the parts I need for my '73 Pinto. Hey, a little grease and mud never hurt anybody, right? And then to finish off our date, I was thinking about hitting the Mickey D's drive-thru. We'll just eat in the truck, we'll be too muddy to go inside.
What do ya think?

I really hope you are joking. I can understand dong something like that whom you have been seeing for awhile, but if you are trying to impress the girl the first thing you need to know is she is coming into this date thinking she will not be getting muddy and eating mcdonalds in your truck. Try something simple like dinner at a nicer place and even a nice walk, or find a park that you can have a picnic. You want to try to impress her a little!!!!

What are you thinking? This for a first date. Wrong, Wrong Wrong!!!!
Think of something else like a walk through a historic town or doing something she likes and then ending the day with a nice sit down dinner in a resturant.
Keep thinking this will not do.

i think that would be a lousy date unless she's really into cars. for the date she'll probably wear something nice which she doesnt want to get dirty and that junkyard would ruin it. if it wasnt a first date and u and her were just hanging out and decided to do it (during the day) then it would be ok. but dont carry her to the junkyard.

well honestly i think you should just tell her to wear some clothes that can get dirty and that its some thing you like to do and wanted her to do some thing with you that you enjoy and say that it is very casual and not to be nervous. But buddy make sure that you dont just treat her like one of the guys cause then you wont get a second chance.it it was me personaly i think you should save that date plan for the 2nd or 3rd date but good luck

pshh wow if you were serious then thats pretty sad
no, that is not romantic at ALL. you need to take her to dinner or a movie or a romantic walk. getting all muddy and greasy and then eating at Mickey D's drive-thru does NOT count!

Yeah, that will impress her.....it impressed me........not. Listen if you want to impress a girl its not by taking her out to a fast food place......take her somewhere where you have to go in and get seated.......and it has to be romantic.....or even a picnic in the park with candles......and a walk afterward just to talk and I bet later you get a good night kiss. Don't think cheap think romantic........good luck......:)

try going to the cinema book a romantic film, save oil and mudd for your spare time not alot of girls have that in mind for a first date huni erm instead of mcd's go to pizza hut and sit in and just tell her she looks nice and what you think of her perfume and stuff she will be easily impressed if she knows your paying attention to her than the car ok x

uhhh yeah it would be if i was the date, but if the girl is really girly and likes to dress up then dont think about it ask her if she likes cars and see what she knows about them before you take her to pick out parts for a car....
good luck!!!!
