I am in my mid 20's & in a comfortable long term relationship... What I need your input on is... sometimes (especially this summer) I find myself blushing or otherwise being somewhat responsive to the opposite sex. I want to focus on my current relationship & eventually settle down, but I am confused at why I get flustered when I talk to other cute guys who are flirting with me. At times, I used to sort of snub all other guys and not even give them a chance to even approach me (which seems like the right thing to do for the most part). SO I am confused as to why I sometimes react to other guys ~ it is like some chemical reaction that I cant control??

Without resorting to three rolls of duct tape, 17 yards of velcro, super glue and a belt. My boyfriends nephew is a monster. He constantly yells around (duct tape), won't stop jumping and clapping (velcro) won't sit still to do homework (super glue) and won't listen to anybody (belt)...now I haven't tried out these options YET.............so what should I do

I was just wondering how many people get along with their husbands/wifes parents? If your not married but have children do you get a long with your childs grandparents?

Ok this is a tough question to ask but i'm going to ask it anyway.


17 years ago i was raped several times by my boyrfriend of the time. I took 5 years to rebuild my life after that and put what was a bad memory behind me. My ex always knew i had been raped but i had never gone into details the other week he managed to break me down to tell him what had happened. {he is a survivor of child abuse himself. He kept saying he wanted to help me thru my feelings which he was until tuesday and now he is saying i destroyed everything with my big secret and doing everything in his power to destroy me. I never spoke about my rape because i had spent those 5 years re-building and now its back to haunt me once but i did the sensible thing and contact the doctor etc. I never kept it from him i was raped and he never asked me so why do i feel bad now when all i did was move from something bad in my life?

I've waited for my hubby for the whole day but he wasn't free. When night comes I was sure he'll be near me but again he says sorry he got to go. Now , what would she have said she doesnt want to ruin a frienship?? Without meaning it, I asked her straight up to be honest, and I know she isnt lying. What should I do? I mean I know nothing is gonna happen in the near future, but maybe when she matures a little bit, or decides to take the risk to date me, I mean, I like her so much, and am just not ready to let her go. I have moved out with two teenaged boys. The biggest reason is that I found a brown envelope loaded with notes about me. Everytime I would piss him off he would write it down, date it and file it away in a locked toolbox. He would call me names in these notes such as I have no logic or common sense, stupid *****, can't manage the fridge so how would she manage the visa card. Not responsible enough to have a visa card ( I am 36 yrs old and been with him for 22 yrs, 12 yrs married on Sunday). So I have said that I want to go to counscelling and he is all for it and willing to pay for his and mine. Which is hard to believe since he is such a tight *** with $. What I want to know is how to tell him that I want to work this out but I can't ever go back to that life again. The Trust issue is gone for me. He verbally, emotionally and mentally abused me for years and then stopped that and began writing all of it down.
The teen sons don't want to go back and live as a family either.

My wife and I are hoping to conceive soon. We have been together for 5 years and this will be our first child. I am an only child and this will be my mother's first grandbaby.

She doesn't know we are even thinking about conceiving and I have noticed a few things. She said she is getting rid of her truck so she can get a SUV so she has a safe car for children and it could fit many people.

She doesn't have any friends, a boyfriend or anyone else to ride in the car. It would literally just be my mom, me and my wife and any kids in her car. My mom is planning her buying a vechicle because she assumes she will be a grandma soon!

Should I expect her to go overboard, like buy a crib for her house and rearrange her work schedule so she can care for our child often.

Has anyone's mom done this?

My child will be the first baby in many YEARS for my entire family, I think she is getting super excited.

Is this normal for moms to plan things around future grandbabies?
