The invitation has my name, but not guest with it. Because of this, just wanted to check and see what I do. I'm serious with my GF and by the wedding she will be my fiance. Is it okay to ask my friend if I can bring her with me, or should I just politely decline? I don't want to step on any toes and I want to do the right thing. Please advise.

i've been through so much with my husband in the short time we've been married (almost 2 years). my friends remember when I was so happy and bubbly and highly goal oriented. since I've been married I've endured so much heartache. my mother says she's never heard me cry so much but she never tells me to leave, she's a prayer warrior and tries to get me to stick it out until I know I'm ready to leave for sure. my friends of course see otherwise they want to pack me up with every weekend that rolls by. I usually leave an uncomfortable relationship but it's different for me now that I am married. Though he claims he wants to he never leaves either for some reason. I want to leave sometimes (i never tell him this) but I don't want to regret it. why do you think my threshold for tolerance is higher?

My aunt is making a special trip to take us out for dinner. Well my mother-in-law invited herself along and my aunt is too kind to tell her that she wanted this time alone to spend with us. My mother-in-law sees us all the time. How do you politely tell her she's not welcome?

Here's the details: She's my BF's sister, she has been with this guy for 8 years, he's 26 she's 36. They have a 6 month old baby, but are not married. She is physically disabled, and unable to walk, or take care of herself, let alone the baby. She has been suspicous of him and a particular mutual friend of theirs, asked him if they are involved, and he will just not answer the question. Just yesterday, he confirmed those suspicions to my BF, and says he plans to stick around with her for 2 more years, until he finishes nursing school, and does not need for her governemnt money and the nice SUV that the government paid for since she is diabled. She really has no where to go if he leaves her, and will lose her child, her independence (she will have to go to an assisted living home), and all the financials they have together in his name. So, do I tell her that he really is cheating on her, and his plan to use her for two more years, or not tell her?

My 14th wedding anniversary is tomorrow. We've been separated since May but still get along fairly well. (Mainly for the twelve-year-olds sake). How do I acknowledge this "special" day? or should I ignore it?

Are other positions just as good. Does it annoy you that guys only go on about this when there are thousands of others?

I believe God can turn anything around. I've tried praying being nice and just being a good wife to my husband but I feel and know in many cases when he has been lying to me about even small things. as a christian I am battling with sticking it out for the long haul and hoping for a change. his family life was/is of one without true commitment , divorce is prominent as is having children out of wedlock. my family dynamics are the total opposite. will my willingness to show true commitment and forgiveness pay off or is it still a dead situation like a generational curse?

My hubby was emotioanlly abusive to me for almost 3 years, and it just got worse. He shut me out of our marriage and acted like I had no right ot ask anything about finances, grocery shop alone, etc. I ended up talking to another man, and while most could say it was an amotional affair, I shared no feelings with him but, someone to talk to, no physical stuff was involved. Now my hubby has kicked me and our kids out. He sees that he did nothing at all wrong in the way he treated me for 3 years. That hurt me to no end. What should I do? I apologized on hands and knees and he just yelled at me. Any suggestions?
