I have a Perkins cup I take in the car whenever we go for a drive. It's really old and the lettering is faded and it doesn't look very good but it keeps my coffee hot better than all the new ones combined, and I've tried many. And I will continue to use it, even though my son-in-law makes fun of it (in a kidding way).

I am getting married in October 2007 and I want my wedding colors to be pastel pinks and greens. My fiance and I think it is an awesome color combo but we are getting a lot of criticism because we are told that greens and pinks don't go together. Any suggestions? Opinions?

This is hard to write about, but this girl, who has been my best friend for 8 years, did not invite me to her wedding. I live in Maine and she lives in Vt., but got married in N. Carolina last May. When she first told me about the wedding she said she knew I "probably couldn't afford to go but was invited." It then slowly shifted to not being invited. I am an alcoholic who for years has been struggling to get and stay sober. She made the comment that there would be way too much drinking at her wedding and she "wouldn't put me in that situation." I am not the type of person who would get smashed and do anything embarrassing to her or myself at a function like this, and I have stood by her in every problem she has ever had. This really hurt me and I feel quite disconnected from her now. She had even said the wedding was going to be so small that she was not having a maid of honor, but she did, and obviously it was not me. Am I being overly sensitive or was she being cruel?

My cousin has fallen pregnant as a result of one of her one night stands. She has asked if i would take her the 6 hour round trip to get an abortion. This is where it gets tricky. I personally don't believe in abortions unless under extreme circumstances such as rape etc however I have no issues with what others want to do to their bodies I just don't think i could play a part in this abortion. It is her choice what she wants to do with her child. Do you think I am being a bit irrational by refusing to take her to this clinic? This isn't her first and she also has a 3yr old daughter...I'm confused morally and emotionally so if anyone could clear the air for me it would be greatly appreciated.

see me and my bf have been dating for almost two years well his and my parents both hate us dating and so they make it really hard plus hes a drop out and a smoker and im neither! so today i told him we should take a break and he has always been totally respectful of my decisions so he said hes fine with that intill i can make my decision (hes so loving like that) but see the thing is i hate smokers and i want someone whos going somewhere in life. we plan to get married and some people are saying if we dont date other people now we will prob. end up having marriage problems and get a divorice!! please help me what should i do! i said i would get in touch with him in a week please help me!!!

Should my son (10) play baseball year 'round or take a break for football in the Fall? He plays select baseball and is concerned about losing his sharpness if he takes a few months off for football becuse other kids in select play year 'round! Should we try to do both? We are being offered a free puupy. I know it is not safe especially since I have a 7 month baby. The dog is the type that does not grow up much kind of like a chiuahua but a little bigger. I keep trying to convince my lady not to accept it because it might not be safe for the baby. She responds by saying that it will be safe, and that it will keep my brother in law company as well. See, they lost there mom 2 yrs ago and we ended taking custody of him. He is 15 yrs old. What should I do. I want them to be happy but am I risking my babys safety as well?

i have a friend, 16. she was born with a heart disease (VSD). there've never been any health problems wid her. she's undergone a closure surgery at 14. she's perfectly normal now. is very intelligent, and multitalented.but the problem is that her family still takes her as a kid. kid means a little weak. she wants to go abroad to study after 12th grade. she is quite exceptional wid her personality, is smarter than her peers. if u luk at her, she seems very healthy.
but the hitch is tht her family considers her a bit immature. this fallacy of her family is affecting her psychologically. nowadays she has started getting quite depressed and frustrated.
however, she still is quite strong mentally and emotionally and sensibly but................what must she do to project herself differently in the eyes of her family. they love her a lot, but don't undertsand her

I think she seemed to like me (or be attracted to me) other times we had seen each other but we didn't know each other very well... We were out in a group and she got very drunk (I was less) and we started kissing and then I took her home and we had sex. I asked her to dinner the next day and it was ok but not even a hug when we parted. She said "ok well call me if you want to hang out again". So, should we talk about the sex thing? Or pretend it didn't happen? Basically I want either a dating relationship or if we are not compatible to date, I would be ok with just occasional sex from her. I don't want to offend her though. Hi,

I fall in love with my Anatomy Professor. I am in my late 20s (finishing my Nursing Master degree) and my professor in early 30s, both of us are resident in Los Angeles, CA. Me and my professor were constantly teased by my classmates because everybody knew that we like each other. (He blushed and I blused everytime, we talk, even during classes.) Since both of us were above the minor age, is it legal or is there no "Conflict of Interest" to have my professor as my boyfriend? Since I could not wait until i finished my study in the next 18 months.

2nd question, Could i date my Teacher, if he is no longer my subject teacher, but we are still in the same campus?

3rd question, assume that my professor didnt become my BF, but he wanted to lease 1 my available bed rooms in my house. Is that legal to have your teacher lives with you while you are a student in the same school he teaches?
