What should I do? It drives me crazy because my bf keeps on lying to me about little things, the most obvious things, and thinks i'm really stupid. I broke up with him last night because of this and now he is talking about how empty he is without me and the baby i'm having and he's just self-pitying a lot right now. It's his fault though because he just tells me little white lies a lot and i'm beginning to think that he has a problem. I don't understand him or what to do because everytime this happens and I try to leave he tries to make me stay and sweet talk me but I can't take it anymore! I want things to work out but i'm beginning to give up on his BS. He lies about things that are obvious to me and he is so sure about it. I think he like convinces himself that the lie is the truth. Is that pathological lying? it really stresses me out and I told him it's not even worth arguing over because I know what the truth is and that's it! What is going on with this guy? What do I do?

I do the planning for our wedding, but wont get involved he says its a women thing, and that it gives him a head ache, which also gives me one but I still do it. How do I get him involved to where I know what he wants to see at the wedding? Or do I just do the planning myself and just let him put the money out?

My 2 1/2 yr old son was being babysat at his grandmothers recently. When we picked him up, we noticed he was favouring his arm. When we asked him what happened, he simply said Peter booboo. Peter is my brother in law who still lives at home (35 yrs old).

when we brought my son to the doctor, it was determined that he popped his elbow out

The next day Peter called and asked to speak to my son (he has never done this before). We left the phone on speakerphone and heard Peter ask my son if he hates him now. to me this is an admission of guilt.

My mother in law is a widow and so no grandfather to uphold the law within the household.

I dont want my son to be babysat by his grand mother anymore, only to visit when my wife or myself is planning to stay for the entire duration of the visit.

My wife will obide, but is upset by this decision. My mother in law has banished me from her house.

do i stand my ground and protect m y son or give in to my wife and mother in law

My husband called an "old friend" of his and didn't tell me about it. When I found the number on our phone bill, he lied and said he didn't know who it was. He had called her 5 times in 1 night and then again a couple of weeks later but he swears he never intended to take it further. Then why did he lie about it? He says he loves me and he didn't think of it as cheating when he was doing it; if he was truly not looking for sex, why else would a man risk his whole family? Is he just an idiot or am I the fool?

My boyfriend, is helping his ex...?
My boyfriend just got kicked out of his parents house, he is 22 and was moving into his friends house, same day his Ex's mom called and told him that she had been in an accident. Now he is sleeping and "living" at his Ex's moms house taking care of her. He says that he has no feeling for her in a personal I love you way. I believe him. But how am I supposed to deal with it? He gets so mean about it, and how I am so emotional.

I need advice on how to stay calm when he does this kind of stuff. How can I make myself not overreact to this stuff?

BTW: i've tried breathing excersises and a theripst. Those thing don't work for me

Everything is done, the separation agreement, property settlement, all been taken care of and settled and it's states that in the divorce complaint. If I do not disagree w/anything on the complaint and do not contest the divorce can it just go ahead w/o me filing an answer? I called the county clerk and she said that I do not have to do anything unless I disagree w/the terms. They have to send me a copy of everything that's filed and that's all the complaint is and I do not have to go to the hearing b/c if they were going to try to change anything or take away what's already been given, they would have had to notify me of that change and they have not. Just looking for a simple answer if I will be ok not answering the complaint since I do not disagree w/anything and want it to move forward but don't want to get screwed if there's a way for them to do that..

I have often wonder how couples can have children together which I think is a life long commitment but then when asked why they don't marry they say its too big of a commitment financially, emotionally, etc. wouldn't it be better emotionally for the children to know their parents have committed to staying together. I know the argument that divorce is difficult on the children which it is but isn't just ending just as difficult and I would think easier to give up on each other when times are tough...just wondering, what are your opinons.

I have met many guys online that list their income at a much higher amount than they obviously make. I met a guy who said he was an engineer and made 100K but had no college education and lives in an old rental house. Another one who supposedly makes 75K but won't even buy dinner. Why don't guys just leave that part of the profile blank so it won't be an issue? I know they do it because they want to attract a woman but that is the same reason overweight women (I am slim myself and weigh less than 100 lbs) say they are average or height weight proportionate. It seems men think it is ok to disappoint a woman by lying about their income but get angry when women disappoint them by lying about their weight. I know guys will say that a woman shouldn't be concerned about how much he makes, ok, then why should a guy be concerned about how much a woman weighs? Personality is the most important thing right?

I love my boyfriend. but good lord is he a manipulator. He feels he needs to be in control. like a natural instinct to be the one that says what goes. Its in the way he says things. If I want to do something. He manipulates the conversation to where he has the upperhand. I feel like its a game for him. And god forbid he loses. I know that he has things he needs to work out. But i really want to know how I can manipulate someone who trys to manipulate me all the time. I dont know if he knows he does that or doesnt. He is very smart though. He is able to do that with most people. That why I feel its just his survival instincts. the problem is that he sends out a message. I control you. You cant try to stop it. I want to figure out a way to outsmart him with responses to his manipulation. I need some sources. HELP!!!!
