same thing it means if a german or anybody else ends an email with love. means with love.

It means he is a lovable guy.
using the word love, is warm and affectionately given freely
If you ask this, my first impression is you do not know how to take it..
take it friendly, warm, happy, and possibly intimately,
but do not mistake this gesture for "romantic love" OR make more of it than it is,,
it is just the culture, and his nature.
