My rent went up to $761 dollars and all I could afford was $400.The reason I could not afford it was I had to buy my kids food and had to go out of town for doctor apts. Now they are giving me fourteen days to pay or leave and I have no where to go right now. So Please help me how ever you can.

Your local Salvation Army might be able to help. There are other governmental programs that will help you how with your bills when you come up short. Where do you live? I live in Oregon and at our local DHS (Department of Human Services) they help out with unexpected things like that. Just don't go to one of those pay-day loan places because you will end up paying thousands of dollars for interest. Another idea is pretty simple...talk to your land-lord...sometimes they can be very understanding and let you make up that last 261 with adding a little extra to the next months that you pay.

I suggest you look for some kind of public assistance through the city, county and state you live in. Alot of churches have programs to help people in your situation. Call around and remember to pray. There are miracles and doors being opened by Jesus everyday, everywhere. :)

go to govt. assisted housing...sliding scale per pay. I work 2 jobs to survive and take my son with me at night to clean offices. He sleeps while I work. Sad but I have to do what it takes to survive. Good luck to you I'm in the same boat as you. We eat lots of macaroni and cheese and rice. never hardly any meat. We make it through.......

Ask them if there's a way you could pay it out. If you've been a good tenant, they may allow you to do this.
