Is it just me or is this accurate? Women seem to go for the types that will only make them misserable and then try to change the jerk into a nice guy.... why not go for a nice guy to start with???

In 2004, we put our house for sale and were going to move back to our hometown (1200 miles away). A hurricane was headed toward our house. With a 18 month old and a newborn--my husband decided to pack us up and a few things--and we left. He drove all night--to my mom's. Dropped us off, and drove back down to check on damage. We stayed with my mom....and it was very stressful. We didn't have cribs, winter clothes, a car...etc. My husband was trying to sell the house, look for a job, and travel every other weekend to see us. I wasn't getting out much...to see anyone. And money was tight--because of pending sale and he was ready to quit. We were at my mom's for 4 months---then moved an hour north. A year later, I had another baby. Three in 3 yrs. It's been two years and I have been getting the cold shoulder from one of my friends (I have known for 25 yrs) ever since. I finally confronted her--and she points back to that time of my life saying I could have spared 30 mins.

I'm a junior in high school and I have never really been any good with girls. I'm not a jock but I think I'm decent looking. I'm not a nerd, but I'm smart (ranked #3 in my class). Looking down the halls, I notice that the type of girls I'm attracted too are all talking to the tall, popular preps and jocks. Most sites I've been too for help with this subject tell you to just ask them out. But you can't do that if they don't notice you! They don't take into account your reputation, height, or looks. I feel like I'm just written off immediately because I'm only 5'2 and not very built. I don't even know why I'm scared to approach girls. Can anyone help me with this problem? I can't talk to anybody in high school about this because I don't want anyone thinking I suck with girls (even though I kinda do).

My seventy year old grandma wants to watch my two young children (1&3 years)if I get a part time job. She doesn't want paid for it and we have no money and I probably couldn't afford to work if I had to pay someone. I have no doubt that she would take good care of them but she does have some health problems and I'm worried that it might be too hard on her. She insists that it won't be. Should I let her do it, if not, how do I tell her that I don't want her to without hurting her feelings or making her feel incapable?

my husband says I never give him space. I work 40 hrs a week. He studies for computer animation(his passion). I ask him to spend quality time w/ me but he says he needs to study. We dated for 1 1/2 years and he signed up for the air force, we talk everyday, sometimes several times a day. We tell each other we love the other and miss them dearly. He gets jealous when I tell him about other guys asking me out. But if I get jealous of his friends that are girls...its a big production and then our friendship is put on the line. Everyone knows that this delightful apertif - coulpled with candles and a soundtrack of 'Music Was My First Love' on repeat - sets any would-be casanova up for an evening of good lovin' (i.e. hand-holding on the sofa watching old episodes of 'All Creatures Great and Small')... But why? Why does it not work so effectively with other soups? Why is white bread so completely useless as an aphrodisiac? And has anyone else noticed that providing crabsticks with balsamic vinegar as the main course usually prompts instant proclamations of undying love?

He is the bartender the corner bar. He asked for my number one night and I gave it to him. I left and went to a friends house, he is freinds with the same friend and found out I was there so he came over. Icrashed on the couch, him on the floor. He drove me to my car the next morning and I left it casual with "see you soon" . A couple weeks went by and I went to the bar agai, he said hi as sson as I walked in. He gave me free drinks. When I left he yelled "I love you". I kept walking and left, what are you suppose to say to that? Does he seem interested? He never called.
