had it out with the ol man now i am depressed?

any ideas on what i could do to cheer up? im already going to get a c.d player in my car. ( i know im in the stone ages so dont laugh )

I don't think getting thing's or buying stuff will do the trick. That is only going to mask the issue. I guess it all depends on what you had it out with him about. I think the issue is still unresolved if you still feel this way (depressed).

oh man! i just got a cd player in my car the other day too! boy am i ever glad, i was tired of listening to 'flock of seagulls' all the time! and oingo-boingo? i thought my ears were going to bleed after the hundreth time listening to that particular tape!

anyways, i would suggest finding some methods other than materialistic satisfaction to ease your gloomy-ness. if you think about it, it can only lead to bad results. i think the best option is to just talk to the guy and hammer things out. and if you can't agree on something, just let them know: 'padre, even if i'm fighting with you right now, i still appreciate everything you've done for me.' maybe even an 'i love you', if you're into that sort of thing.

Write yourself a letter detailing all the bad stuff--read it alot and lean on friends or family--remember that there a lot of other people out there looking for something more in their lives with someone special

go somewhere and cool off and think things through. don't buy anything cause before you realize it you will be broke. then go back and have and talk to your ol man and see how things go when both of you are calmer.
