I have a friend that is separated and is still living with her ex husband. they are "best" of friends. they date other people and stuff. it just drives me crazy that they are still living together and have no plans of getting divorce... should i say something or just keep my mouth shut.

I have always wondered why the heart has been chosen (probably by our ancestors) to be the symbol of love. The heart scientifically pumps the blood all around our body and has nothing at all in relation to emotions and the "thinking"! All these feelings are done by the brain (or so the scientists say)! Why then did man chose the heart to be the symbol of the emotion "Love"? Why not the brain?! I mean, it would be more sensible to tell your lover that you have her/him at your brain (i.e you think about them always and care for them), than at your heart (just a meat that pumps blood)! Any body who can give me some light on the issue pliz?!Am much concerned and need to change things.

I know it's none of my business, but I suspect my friend of seeing a married man who I have met and I think is a real slimeball. He's obviously just using her. She might be okay with this, but I have kept my mouth shut. She has said that he tells her what she wants to hear (she's pretty, etc.) and I think he preys on her lack of self esteem and narcissisum. Should I say anything at all? I know I would have appreciated a friend telling me my boyfriend was an *** (I wasted 2 years figuring it out for myself) Incidentally, I do have a life of my own, but I also have a crummy job were I sit on the internet with nothing to do but ask myself this stuff. I hate it when answerers say get a life when they don't even have enough of one to ignore me and my petty issues.

well me and my boyfriend just moved in and got this very great person to pay half of the rent and then he got a nother place to stay should we still make him pay rent for this month what should we do. i asked my mom and she said to talk to him but every time i try his girl gets in the way i all ready don't like her and told her to drop dead i asked her if she likes to get beat up and she didn't answer what should i do please help

I know a female who has lost everything since she became involved and married to this guy. She never goes out to enjoy herself. They have a family together but he refuses to work but perfers to sell drugs so he does. He smokes w**d and insists that she's cheating (she has been 100% faithful)! On many occassions he has been suspect for cheating. This guy never has any money and when ever she asks for him to come up with money to make ends meet he can never do it. (They almost got evicted for being short of rent money which he had but spent on w**d). She has now bad credit, repossed vehicle, behind on rent, license messed up and worried about him. I am tired of being a onlooker and cofidant for her but it seems dispite my advice she choses to put up with it! I understand they have 2 children together but what would you do......................?

My special friend, not a bf yet, who I love and loves me too is having a birthday party with his friends in his house. I overheard him talking to his girl friend that they're going to give him a "free sex" gift. I'm not pretty sure if I heard it right. The only thing that gives me a hint is how open-minded are his friends about sex. Now I'm thinking twice whether or not I will attend to his party. We haven't told anyone yet about our feelings for each other. I am just afraid that I might get hurt when something or someone from his friends shows that crazy act. I already told him that I may not be around on that day and he said that he will spend another celebration of his brithday with me. Am I too aloof not to be around with his friends? Or should I just be there and see what happens and be ready for whatever things that will happen? Most of the people who will attend are girls and I heard that some of them like him. Please advise me.

Why when you ask your boyfriend, spouse, or whoever a question, and when we tell you the truth, you ask 5-6 more questions like were lieing to you ? Would you rather us lie to you, or tell you what you want to hear to keep you off our backs ? I don't understand it. You don't turst us when we tell you the truth, but you love and trust the hell out of us when we lie to you. Please ladies explain it to me.

My husband was playing around with me and was all over me. He walked up to me in the kitchen kissing me like crazy grabbing my butt, dancing with me, and throwing rubber bangs across the room, he chased me up to the bedroom and pushed me on the bed. And again acted so desperate. I said to him "Your totally obivous aren't you, you just want to have sex." (I said it a couple of times) he got up and said fine forget it and walked away. I asked him why and he said that when I say that it makes him feel like he's DOING SOMETHING WRONG (because its not the first time he's heard that from me.) Why does he feel like he's doing something wrong when i say this? (unless he just wants sex in his mind).
